Sixtieth Keychain - [Voice/Action]

[It all started in the morning. Roxas got up bright and early, wasting some time in the library before returning to KH house in the early afternoon. He was determined to drag Axel out of bed to go to the battle dome with him. However, when he entered the other Nobody's bedroom, he didn't see anything. He clicks on the journal then and he's not addressing it just yet as he makes his way around the house, just to see if he can find him.

There's no sign of him being home.

...okay, Axel. If you didn't want to go out and train with me today all you had to do was say so. [He's going back to the other Nobody's room to give it another sweep.] Don't you think we're getting a little old for hide and seek? [And he's dropping to his knees, crawling around and looking under the bed and things.

And it's about then he remembers he has a rather useful device in his hands. He'll peer into the camera then to deliver his message.]

Hey, hi, listen. Have any of you seen Axel? Tall guy, bright read hair? Usually in a heavy black coat, snarks a lot? I mean it's not that big of a deal but I would really like to fi--

[It's then he sees a slip of paper that appears to have accidentally fallen under there. He makes a quick grab for it and sits on the floor, unfolding it and subconsciously mumbling to himself.]

...'nother "see ya" for now. I know I promised I wasn't going anywhere...

...I don't go away that easily...

...No!

[And he's taking off like a shot, journal in his hand as he bolts out of KH house and toward the village.]

You dummy, you can't be gone. Don't do this to me again!

[He's not going to stop for anything. Good luck getting him to slow down, but someone's on a mission to find the redhead, not fully believing the Nobody's disappeared from Luceti all together.]

[Walking into her room to find a note on her bed wasn't something that alarmed Naoto. What was written on the inside was a bit more surprising. It sounded like a goodbye note...

Opening up the journal and listening to Roxas pretty much confirms that too. Axel is gone. And Roxas doesn't believe that--he doesn't want to. What will he do? Where is he going? She needs to find him.

After running around the entire village for maybe a half hour or more, Naoto finds herself off somewhere in the forest, panting, shaking, crying. She can't find him. Not even Yamato-Takeru has spotted him. Why couldn't she be like Rise? Why can't she just scan every little crevice and track him down?

She backs up into a tree and pulls out her journal, tears drip onto the front before she can wipe them away. Why is she crying anyways? She shouldn't be the one shedding these tears. Roxas and Xion... they should be the one's crying. Not her. But she can't stop... they just keep rolling down her cheeks. Maybe it's because she feels useless again--she can't keep an eye on Roxas like Axel said to. She can't scan the entire village like Rise could to find him. All she can do is run.

Patting her on the head, her persona stares down at her with a strong look, giving a slight nod. She nods in return, taking a deep breath to try and calm down before opening the journal to call him...]

Roxas...?

[voice] ...lol flynn ilu

[She won't be receiving an answer until much later, only when he feels like he can actually handle having discussions with people that aren't living in the house. He hears Naoto's voice though and pauses, trying to put on a brave face for her.]

Hey...looking for me?

[voice] you love a failure /in the corner of shame

[Even though time has passed, Naoto's still out and about with her persona, looking for that one certain blonde kid. She's been worried Roxas ran off somewhere and did something stupid. But once she reopens her journal to see he responded, she sits down in the snow and sighs in relief. She isn't sure whether to be upset at herself or happy that he's okay]

I have been for quite some time now...

[voice] I DONT CARE

[He's heading back to his house as he's talking, but...]

What's up?

[Naoto just stays quiet for a minute, suppressing the urge to cry again.]

I can't keep my word to Axel if you just run off like that... idiot... [Not exactly what she wanted to say but hopefully Roxas can translate that to: I was worried about you]

You talked to Axel? When? [And suddenly he's got his hopes up again.]

I didn't actually speak with him... He had left me a note, which I found earlier today. [Sob Roxas don't do that ;;]

[...world. Shattering. Again.]

He left you one, too? ...you didn't see him at all?

He did but I haven't seen him in quite some time. [ ... ] I'm sorry...

...I bet he's not really gone. Maybe...maybe he's just on another mission again.

[Naoto just...stays quiet. Really, what can she say? She wants to tell him the truth. The right thing to do would be to make him face the facts but she just can't bring herself to say it. But is it still really okay to just let him keep believing that Axel is on some mission? It can't be good for him...]

Roxas-kun... [Her voice is calm but there's obvious concern in it]

I mean when he was at Castle Oblivion he was gone for a really long time...maybe it's like that.

...Maybe... he will come back one day. [She isn't saying he's on some mission or has been kidnapped. It's entirely possibly that he'll return]

He came and went before...it only took him a few months to come back after that.

Then perhaps it will be the same as before. [She whispers 'just' but then stops at that. "Just don't give your hopes up" was what she would have said but it's better she keep him thinking positive]

It has to be...he said we can't get rid of him that easily. I'd believe that.

He doesn't seem like he's the type to simply leave his friends forever, so I believe it as well.

...not on purpose, anyway. He wouldn't leave us on purpose.

Right. No one would leave their friends on purpose. Who would want to? [Stupid Malnosso]

...Xion used to run away a lot. And I ran away, too.

...and Axel always tried to stop us and bring us back.

He's a good friend. [ ... ] Why would you two run away?

...to get away from the Organization, mostly.

I see. At least he was there to look out for you.

He always has been. He's kind of like a babysitter, in a way. He's always looking after us and making sure we're safe, even when he knows things about us that we don't even know ourselves.

[voice] <3333

It's always nice to have someone like that. [She wishes she could say more than just 'oh it must be nice' and 'at least he was there for you' but really, she doesn't know what more she can say.

Even when Souji left, she had no idea how to comfort Rise and just became awkward about it.]
