Fortieth Keychain-[Voice/Action]

Yeah, yeah, we get it, new people. Can we stop talking about it already and figure out what we're supposed to do with all of them?

[Currently Roxas is sitting on the ledge of the roof of one of the community buildings. Don't mind him.]

[Without even looking directly at her yet.] Please tell me you have wings.

[Will he do? Have a Sora trotting in, waving and looking a bit weirded out himself.] Xion! You're Xion, right?

Yeah, it's me! I--

[ oh he Sora. startled, she turns and blinks at him. ] Sora? You-- [ PEERS AT. oh he has wings THANK DARKNESS. ] You're our Sora. Thank goodness.

[ looking up at Roxas again ] Can we come up? I want to get away from all of these people.

Yeah, come up here. This is getting way too out of control.

You got that right! [He'll head for the door to the building. Time for some marathon stair-running!]

[ nod nod nod! somewhat anxiously she'll follow after Sora. .... at least she's in good shape and can handle stair running. mostly. though she'll be winded by the time they make it up there. ]

[Roxas is just...sitting there. Staring at the people below him like a lion or a vulture or something.] This is probably the weirdest thing they've done to us all year.

[He'll help you if you need it, Xion. And heights, what heights? Sora swings a leg out and sits down, kicking his feet idly and looking down in a very similar position to Roxas, unconsciously.] Yeah, I know. Did you see the guy that looked like you?

[ Xion takes a moment to catch her breath before she joins them, sitting on Sora's other side ... also mimicking the position of the other two, also without realizing. they make quite a picture. ]

He spoke to me! Ven, right? He asked me if I was you! [ glances past Sora at Roxas ] He even said I looked like I had clothes on just like his... I don't know what to think.

[Roxas shrugs, still watching people.] Yeah, that's him. It's weird, isn't it? Why would he ask you something like that? He was talking about being a Keyblade Apprentice and training and stuff. [He glances at Sora] He said he talked to you a bit. What'd he say?

[Shrug.] Same thing, basically. I saw his Keyblade, it looks pretty weird, and he talked about Masters and everything. Oh, and he knows someone named Terra, but it isn't the Terra here, it's a guy. And Aqua? They can all use Keyblades.

He thought it was really weird that I didn't have a master.

He said it was weird for the Keyblade to choose people... but it never even chose me in the first place, not really.

[ she sighs, leaning back on her hands and staring at the sky instead of the people on the ground. ] I ... kind of hope they don't stay. All of this just makes my head hurt.

...he said it was weird I could wield two of them. [He's kind of just glaring at everyone like it's all their fault he's so confused. Oh. Wait.] I don't want them all to stay either, I can't even keep track anymore.

I like meeting new people, but this is nuts. [He'll peer down at the milling crowd, that are still really loud even up here.] But I saw a lion from the Pride Lands, so I know Simba and Nala are doing okay.

... [ silent, all of a sudden. ]

...[Notices, and just turns to look at her]

[So does he. Have a double-peer, Xion.] Hey, what's wrong?

[ alskjfdhsa um. kind of leans away from them both, blinking. ] ... It's ... it's just ...

[ she can't lie to them, can she. sighing, she clasps her hands together and stares down at the crowd below. ] I don't know any of those names ... Simba, the Pride Lands ... but I'm sure both of you do. You're both so much older than me, and you know so much more than I do. You're probably stronger, too. Sometimes I just feel like I'm -- [ "useless." "a sham." ] -- ...

...I only know because of Sora, actually.

Eh-heh. [He'll give them both, but mostly Xion, a sheepish grin and rub the back of his head with one hand.] Uhhh, sorry... I kind of... forget that, sometimes. [Which is actually kind of a good thing if they think about it. And then he grins for real and puts a hand on her shoulder.] But hey, you're here now! You can come to school with us and learn all kinds of stuff there. If you wanted to, that is.

[ bites her lip, looking at Roxas ] ... did you not find out until you got here? Or was it ... before?

[ Sora, though, gets kind of a sad smile, but an eager nod, too ] Yeah. I think the idea of school is really neat. I never knew something like that existed until Yuri told me about it.

[ ... still clearly not totally happy but doing her best to hide it now! ]

A little of both...I didn't find out a lot of things until...[Well, you know, when they merged. He'll just shrug though and eagerly change the subject.] Anyway, school's kind of interesting. You'll like it, I'm sure of it.

[Awww, Xion. Sora'll watch her for a moment, looking a bit sad himself at her obvious unhappy, and then abruptly pushes himself up and onto his feet. He's not going very far, though - just moving to her other side and sitting again, so she's the one in the middle, and putting an arm over her shoulders in a comforting gesture.]

It's really fun! And you'll meet a lot of new people, most of them are really friendly. And the teachers are nice and will help you whenever you need it, you'll see.

[ there is an arm around my shoulders what do I do. Xion blinks at Sora quite a bit, since, despite her ninja hugs, she's not really used to any sort of physical affection. she gives Roxas a sort of "does he do this often?" look, but .... lets him. after all, it does make her smile a little bit. ]

... thanks, guys. Sorry to be such a downer. I'm fine, I promise.

[Roxas just sort of shrugs. "This is typical Sora." He'd do the same...but he's not really a hugging type of guy, not like Sora anyway.] Don't even worry about it.
