Another year later and I'm still not sure about Christmas here. Christmas in Christmas Town's one thing, but otherwise...what's there to do here for Christmas anyway? Maybe I just don't get it...other than watching Sora and company pass out presents. That's different.

I guess I could say Merry Christmas, but I'm not sure it means anything if I still don't get it.

At least they left us alone this year, right? Yeah.

I'm sure they have their ways...I just don't know if I want to find out what those ways are.

Just that she can't use the keyblade anymore, and Saix has said some things to her. Probably the same thing she said to you.

It's selfish, but I don't exactly want to one day find out we're actually fueling a war with our presence here while we remain blissfully ignorant to things.

Maybe. She said that Sora and Xigbar found out on accident, so she might as well tell us too.

...that's...actually a really good point. Especially with some of the new information that's come out lately.

Guess we all still have some honesty issues.

Hence my doubts. I don't even know if these experiments are actual experiments or just effects from whatever it is they are doing.

Probably always will, too. I've been thinking...maybe being honest has to do with having a heart. Like...maybe we don't feel the same amount of guilt and pressure like Sora and Kairi and Riku do. I don't think that makes sense now that I said it...

What, like maybe they're just used to distract us from what's really happening?

No, no it's fine, I've been trying to think about this for a while now.

Just a thought...anyway, I'm going to help her train with her katana later, probably next week or something. Wanna come?

Right. Each time we start suspecting them, they can always throw something at us to catch us completely off-guard. We're too much on our toes for experiments and New Feathers that we forget there is something going on in the back.

At least in theory.

That would make enough sense, especially when you consider that by constantly bringing in new people, you lose the amount of people that actually know what's going on and they spend time trying to explain it while missing details. It's a mess sometimes, but it makes sense.

It just makes me wonder why they choose to let some of them stay though. Are they purposely doing this to confuse us? I know a lot of the older residents update us with new information, but I have to wonder if those information are meant to be things we learned on our own, or things they purposely left to give us a false sense of security.

Could be a little of all of the above. It's easy to manipulate people into believing whatever reality you want them to believe just by tweaking certain details here and there, throwing in a few people to get along and be on your side and call it good.
