[ cuts herself off. she's trying so hard to be brave, but it's starting to fail. she's very scared. ]

That was the name for the war of liberation that overthrew the Scarlet Moon Empire in order to form the Toran Republic.

[ oh, god. the look on his face and the tone in his voice are too much for her. her expression breaks completely, all the fear and the grief she's been hiding for so long showing through so clearly. she clutches the Keyblade harder, visibly close to tears. it's all she can do to nod. yes. ]

[ shaking? shaking a tiny bit. Xion does not want to die, but she knows now, beyond a shadow of a doubt -- thanks to Roxas's confirmation that something is indeed happening to Sora -- that she will. she just shuts her eyes because she can't stand the look on his face. ]

[Roxas knows the look is probably a horrible one, but he's pretty terrified at the idea. It's too familiar.] You can't. You can't.

Geographically, they're the same place. And it's Scarlet Moon Empire.

You see, in the solar year of 230, Kranach Rugner lead a coup against Harmonia, establishing himself and his lineage as sovereign over the former Harmonian territories in that area. Over two hundred years later, their was a revolt against them. The region has since become known as the Toran Republic.


I fought on the side of the Liberation Army in that war. Yuber fought on the side of the Empire, though he really just wanted to cause destruction.

Several. He also showed up three years later in the Dunan Unification War. The one here seems to be from the tail end of a war in my world's future. There's no telling how many he's been in.
