He was involved in an incident 300 years ago. It wasn't really recorded history, but the revelations of the action came during the Gate Rune War.

That was the name for the war of liberation that overthrew the Scarlet Moon Empire in order to form the Toran Republic.

Wait, now you've lost me, start over. What's the Toran Republic and the Moon Empire?

Geographically, they're the same place. And it's Scarlet Moon Empire.

You see, in the solar year of 230, Kranach Rugner lead a coup against Harmonia, establishing himself and his lineage as sovereign over the former Harmonian territories in that area. Over two hundred years later, their was a revolt against them. The region has since become known as the Toran Republic.


I fought on the side of the Liberation Army in that war. Yuber fought on the side of the Empire, though he really just wanted to cause destruction.

Right, sorry, Scarlet Moon Empire. So Yuber's actually been in wars...this is the kind of thing I needed to know.

Several. He also showed up three years later in the Dunan Unification War. The one here seems to be from the tail end of a war in my world's future. There's no telling how many he's been in.

However... True Runes have been known to attach themselves to living things. Even humans.

I don't know. But it's a possibility. He... LOOKS human. But there's no way a normal human can do what he can.
