This may seem random, but what can anybody tell me about that Yuber guy? I need to know.

...I have a few things to discuss with ~~some stupid guys with silver hair~~ ~~friends who keep hiding things from me~~ a few people. Maybe it's your lucky day that I'm postponing that for a while. If you think it's you? Well, you'll know.

... he knows, Roxas. I told him when he came to find me and bring me back. He didn't know what to do, either. And Sora... Sora just promised nothing would happen, but... well, it did anyway.

The only person who I can think of that might ... know a way ... is Vexen. He created me, after all.

...but I don't want to ask Vexen. There has to be another way.

[ suddenly raising her voice again. ]

But there isn't, Roxas! There isn't anything else! It's going to happen again, all of it! I thought it was all over when I came here... but then that fight happened, and Sora held his Keyblade out to me, and without thinking I just...

[ abruptly she throws the Keyblade to the floor and turns away. it clatters noisily and slides to Roxas's feet before vanishing. her voice is tight when she speaks up again. ]

This is the way it has to be... I made a mistake, and I have to pay for it.

[He's surprised when she suddenly starts speaking with such force, but he can only look at her.] ...I still don't even remember all of it though, Xion. I know how it's going to end, but I don't...it can't be the only option.

...... [ just shakes her head, slowly ] If there's another way, I don't know what it is. And the only people who would are Xemnas, Saix, and Vexen.

And with Xemnas and Saix gone...Vexen wouldn't help though.

... he's all we have left, though.

I don't know about that.

[ finally she turns around to look at him again, eyebrows drawn up. probably worst of all, she just looks ... resigned. ]

...I'm going to fix it. I promise. Sora said I had to help protect you guys, so I will.

... [ just nods. she clearly doesn't believe him, but she'll let him try. ]

Just promise me you'll stay away from Yuber, too.

...you and Sora both made me promise.

[ hee. smiles a tiny bit. ]

You guys really don't trust me, do you?

... it's just that ... you're the sort of person who would do pretty much anything to help the people you care about. Including putting yourself in danger. But we worry about you too, and we don't want you to get hurt. ... that's all it is.

...yeah, I know. I just want to make things right again.

I know... I do, too. But at least I'm not trying to figure it out alone this time... do you really think we can find a way?

There has to be. We'll figure something out.
