So Luceti...what exactly makes a person real or not? What qualities and characteristics mean that a person exists instead of just being a weird figment? Trust me, it's important.

The tools thing makes sense, but...what about if it were all done by something else? Not people. Would that make a difference?

In my world, at least, there's nothing but people that can do it. Computers, no matter how smart they get, are still only able to do what they're told to do, and animals, like I said, don't think.

...there's a guy here, new feather. He looks exactly like me, and he even sounds like me, but I'm not sure why. I want to figure out who's real and who's fake.

Did you know he knew Axel? Well, not Axel, but Axel's Other. That just makes everything more suspicious.

Building a rocket shouldn't be too hard if you could find a book about it. Getting the materials for one is the tricky part. I think the most important part here is to figure out how to get around the barrier keeping us in Luceti.

Because he mentioned these things called Unversed, but none of us have ever heard of them. They're monsters, but they're not like the Heartless I don't think.

[There's a pause as he processes that.] Well, that's... I guess I don't see why one of you has to be considered a fake. Couldn't you both be real?

It's good that he had friends with him. There's a lot of worlds, and I know I wouldn't want to go through that all on my own.

Computers are stupid anyway. [Maybe a bit bitter about past experience with them, don't mind him.] If animals can't think though, what would you call all of the decisions that they make? Instinct?

I'm not sure. I'm not considered real where I'm from, but that was before I saw that there was someone who looked and sounded exactly like me.

Riku says that they're dark blue with red eyes. They move kind of like the weakest Heartless, crawling and darting quick. I haven't see them, but Riku said that this Vanitas guy summoned them.

As far as I know, there's never really been a way to change that.

That's still not too bad though, enough time to get you settled in. Are you here by yourself?

Sora's one of those guys that draws strength from his friends. He knows what's important. I don't think they'd ever make him go through it alone.

Yeah, him. Axel didn't deny it when I asked him about it, but he didn't say much about it.

That's something we can agree on. Someone can be really strong, but if they don't have friends, then what's there to fight for? My friends keep me going, and they're where I get my strength, too.

I guess you guys are alike in that way. When he first started fighting, he was doing it to get back together with Riku and Kairi. Then it just became him saving all of the worlds and helping the friends he'd met along the way. That's just what Sora does.

I think you two would have gotten along pretty well.

Vanitas. So that's his name.

[He groans, thinking of that unpleasant encounter.]

You find anything out about them?

That's kinda what happened with me. When I left home, it was to find Terra and make sure he was okay, but after a while I just couldn't go back.

I wish I could meet him, but he's back in his world, right?

Not really, except Ventus kept talking about being a Keyblade apprentice and Vanitas is a total headcase.
