So Luceti...what exactly makes a person real or not? What qualities and characteristics mean that a person exists instead of just being a weird figment? Trust me, it's important.

...I guess it does, in a way. It's a good way to look at it at least. So as a replica, the only thing you share with the replicas and the original Fon Master are your looks? That's it?

Yes. The only thing that can't be replicated in Auldrant are memories. Replicas are crea- born without any of the memories or knowledge from their original. Although I was trained how to act like him and I have the same powers he did, from what I've gathered about the sort of person he was, we're nothing alike in personality.

And nobody's mentioned that you act nothing like the other guy? [Then again, when he was first born he didn't remember anything about his origin or about Sora, but that changed. That's the important part here.]

The only people who knew him well enough to notice were the ones responsible for my creation. He wasn't close with a lot of people and... well, for the first year or so of my life, neither was I.

That probably made it a lot easier. What happened after the first year of your life though?

It's a rather long story, but sometime after I had been alive for two years, certain events happened in my world that eventually led me on a journey with a group of others. They became my closest friends, and that didn't change even after they learned I was a replica. [A small smile.] Many of them are even here in Luceti.

[There's a bit of a long pause after that before he answers, quietly. Roxas may notice the filter boosting up a bit higher.]

That's all right. With all the different worlds people are from, it's hard to know what else could be out there. I didn't realize other worlds knew was replicas were, either...

Yeah...one of my best friends is a replica. I'm kind of one too, I guess. But from most worlds it's not that common.

If you don't mind- why are you asking about this? You mentioned it being important...

...there's a guy here, new feather. He looks exactly like me, and he even sounds like me, but I'm not sure why. I want to figure out who's real and who's fake.

I'm not sure. I'm not considered real where I'm from, but that was before I saw that there was someone who looked and sounded exactly like me.
