So Luceti...what exactly makes a person real or not? What qualities and characteristics mean that a person exists instead of just being a weird figment? Trust me, it's important.

Well, I think a person is real if they're truthful and honest to their friends, if they're dependable, reliable...

And of course, being physically existent helps, too!

What about if they're none of those things except for being physically existent? What does that make them?

That may be a different kind of 'real' than I was thinking. I guess existing physically is the only requirement.

..I think I got what you meant anyway, but yeah, the other kind of real. Is a body the only requirement for counting as existing?

I guess so. As long as it has consciousness and can move...

I'd say those things have everything to do with being real. If you have those things, you're as good as alive!

What if a person only has one or the other though? ...I know it sounds impossible, but just go with it?

In that case, I guess it'd have to depend on whether it's sincere. If you just have a mind, it should be a sincere mind. As long as it's no controlled by something, you know? Robots can have minds, but those minds are controlled by science, in a way. And their hearts are... batteries or whatever.
