So Luceti...what exactly makes a person real or not? What qualities and characteristics mean that a person exists instead of just being a weird figment? Trust me, it's important.

Okay...when the island first got attacked, Riku disappeared or whatever, but Kairi lost her heart. Sora didn't know it at the time, but her heart actually disappeared inside his own. So he went on his way fighting and saving the worlds with Donald and Goofy, but once he learned that Kairi's heart was locked inside him, he...basically stabbed himself to take his own heart, to free hers. When a person loses their heart to the darkness, they become a Heartless, and that's what happened with Sora. But Kairi brought him back to the light and he became human again.

...the thing is, when a Heartless is made, the body and mind and soul of a person has to go somewhere. In our world, those things create a Nobody. Make sense?

To make a longer story short, let's just go with this. When Sora lost his heart, a Nobody was created.

[Okay, that part he gets.] And how does that new guy fit into all of this?

That's the part we're not sure of yet. I can't figure that out. He doesn't know who Sora is.

Isn't it possible that he's just from a different reality altogether? It could happen.

No, because he knows some of the same people I know. Plus he said he and his friends were training as Keyblade apprentices.

Keyblade apprentices?

People who train until they can take some exam and become a Keyblade Master, but Sora's never been an apprentice so I'm not sure. Ventus mentioned it to me.

That's the first I heard of that too. [A pause.] What do you make of that?

There's something not right about that guy. He's never heard of the Heartless either.

Well... It's possible that during his time, Heartless never existed.

That's what he made it sound like, but then that just brings up even more questions.

... Okay, I'll bite. Why?

Because he mentioned these things called Unversed, but none of us have ever heard of them. They're monsters, but they're not like the Heartless I don't think.

Unversed? What are they like?

Riku says that they're dark blue with red eyes. They move kind of like the weakest Heartless, crawling and darting quick. I haven't see them, but Riku said that this Vanitas guy summoned them.

Vanitas? And Riku knows about them?

Riku said that Vanitas attacked him with them. I haven't seen them before, but Ventus told me about what they do and everything. Sort of. They're not the Heartless.

Is he okay?

[A pause.] It sounds to me like a case of different reality with similar people involved.

Riku? Sure, whatever. He was okay enough to tell me about it.

...what do you mean a different reality though?

Okay, that's a relief.

Hmm... Well, if we're all from different worlds, but even world travelers haven't been to most of these worlds, then it's possible it's because we're not all from the same reality. So, if that's the case, maybe there's another reality where some guy who looks like you knows about the Unversed but not Heartless, and coincidentally enough knows about Keyblades as well.

And because there's some lack of originality going on, they probably mimicked every other guy you know too just to try messing with you.

Sure it is.

...you know, that almost makes sense. I didn't even think about it being a totally different reality. A lot of things line up, but then there are some things that don't, that's where I'm confused. That explanation's a very good possibility though.

But the problem is...who would have had enough power and brains to do something like that?

Your guess is as good as mine when it comes to that. I suppose the same one who made all these worlds in the first place.

Do you really think anybody had to make the worlds? They probably all just existed and we just didn't know until somebody made the roads.
