Fifty-Third Keychain - [Voice/Action]
[Roxas is not stupid. Let's just make that clear. He's a bit of a derp, yes, but he's not stupid and he's been keeping track of the days. Valentine's Day is very soon, and he knows that that usually means the Malnosso do everything they can to mess with them on the holiday.
That being said, he's preparing himself for a weekend (or a whole week, really) locked inside KH house. In his hands he's got a stack of red origami paper, a stack of white origami paper, and a box of cookies. Food's important, after all.
As he starts walking home though, he starts letting his mind wander. A holiday dedicated to love. Xaldin explained love once. Axel explained love once, too. Roxas liked Axel's better, even if all of it was pretty unclear back then. Years later it's still kind of unclear though, especially given what he's seen with people around Luceti. It's due to that line of thought that he finally pauses in the middle of the town square, juggling with the things in his arms to open his journal and address the public.]
What kind of love stories are common where you guys are from? Are they real stories, or are they kind of like fairy tales?
...and if you can't think of love stories, maybe just talk about what you think love is.
[He's going to close the journal as he continues on his way back to the house. Don't worry, he'll open it again to talk to people when he gets back to his bedroom. Once there, he's going to be spending some time working on using his origami paper to fold a bunch of these. Once he's got a handful folded up though, he's going around the house and taping them wherever he sees fit. Could be the wall of the kitchen, could be the bathroom door, could be Kairi's bed, wherever! Housemates are free to catch him in the act of either making or hanging the hearts. And maybe steal one of his cookies.]

It's pretty popular, considered the basic formula for a love-romance story. Boy meets girl, girl loves boy, boy can't have girl, they both get desperate and do something ridiculous.
Though hopefully most romances don't end in a suicide pact or there wouldn't be much left of the population, ne?

...well, not unless you brought them both back and they became Zombieo and Juliet. But somehow I don't think that has as good of a ring to it. It sounds kind of depressing though, why would people use that as a basic formula for love stories?

...zombies though.] Who's a writer around here? Maybe somebody will actually do it in their spare time. Or maybe I'll do it...I need a new hobby anyway.

You can even enter it in Ciel's contest! I'll bet you'll be amazing. And I'm sure it'll teach you lots about love.

Wait, Ciel's contest?
no subject
Mm-hm! He's trying to convince writers here to submit stories and books. It's a contest. I'm not sure of the prize or rules though.

And his mun's already had her other blond muse write romance stories...]I might look into it. Just for something to do, no other reason.
Romeo and Juliet isn't the only really famous love tragedy is it?
no subject
Oh, of course there are many others. What kind are you interested in?

I know there are some famous ones like Wuthering Heights or Pride and Prejudice, but I'm not sure you'd like them.
My favorite isn't a book at all; it's actually a movie. Casablanca.

I'll have to look into those, but I've never heard of Casablanca. We didn't get to watch a lot of movies back home. [If by "a lot" you mean any.] What is it?

It's... very sad. Always makes me cry at the ending. [Canon truth. She's seen it a good twenty + times they said.]

[It has everything she likes about romance. A married couple, nazis, jazzclub, constant song references, and at the end SPOILERS (if you're like the last person on Earth to see/hear of this: the married couple get away safely and live happily ever after, and the other guy gets his resolution and moves on, now happier himself.]

and it helps that his mun approves as well.] It shouldn't be too hard though.no subject
A dvd player or VCR and tv or a laptop or computer should work.

We've got to have one of those around our house. I'll ask one of the others next time I see them. Thanks for the tip.
