Fifty-Fifth Keychain - [Action]

[Okay, it's warm. Very very warm. Even for the evening it's hotter than usual...but that doesn't explain why there's a blond boy wandering through the forest without his shoes and without his shirt. True to New Feather nature, the boy's wearing just the white cotton pants as he shuffles along through the forest.

It isn't until he gets to the center of town that he stops, staring at his surroundings with blank eyes. Well, great. None of this is registering.

Attention, Luceti. Would the owners of a blonde derp please come and claim your friend? He's not going anywhere for a while. It's a little too hard to process anything right now.

Is he staring at you? Or you? You seem like someone interesting.]

[You better be careful with her hat Roxas, even though you're nice and pretty much clueless, she has her eye on you] Personally, I just like to wear it, I can't say there is a true reason behind it.

[At least he won't eat it or something worse.] ...ah. [And okay, putting it back onto Naoto's head, never mind the fact it's backwards. He furrows his eyebrows a bit, trying to formulate his next question.] How long... [And then he stops. He's trying to figure out how long Naoto's been around. Give him a sec, he'll try again in a moment.]

[That would scare her just a little if he did eat it. She blinks when he puts it on her head backwards but smiles nonetheless and fixes it. She can tell he's trying to say more so she'll just stay quiet and wait]

[He watches her fix it, noting how the hat should properly be worn before attempting to articulate his thought again.] Have you been here? How long...?

I've been here...for a little over two months now. [Time flies doesn't it.]

[ ooooooooooooooooookay something's not right. She pulls up short, just ... staring at him, eyes a little wide. ]

... Roxas? What's wrong? [ ... it is him, right? It's got to be. Ven didn't go missing. At least, not that she heard... but why would EITHER of them be blank like this? No, it has to be Roxas, and ... something must be wrong. She comes in closer, reaching out a hand towards him, visibly concerned. ]

[Huh. That's a long time. Longer than Roxas thinks he's been alive.] ...alone?

[He waits until Xion approaches him and reaches toward him, not moving and not doing much to stop her. He tilts his head again though.]

...Roxas. [He nods slightly. Yup. That's his name. His gaze leaves Xion's face then and goes back to looking around the village, digging his toes into the dirt a bit. It's...kind of huge, this village. He's not sure what to make of it.]

[ Her memory flashes back to earlier in the month. When she broke. When she turned back, somehow, into a newborn Replica...

... somehow, this is achingly familiar. At least he can talk.

Her expression draws down as her concern intensifies, as she bites her lip. Her hand falls halfway in its journey to his arm, and she just ... peers at his face. ]

Roxas. Do you ... know where you are?

[She shakes her head, smiling a little] No, not alone. Luckily two of my friends from my own world were brought here as well. I've also been able to make a few friends here in that time.

[And his gaze slooowly wanders back, locking eyes with Xion despite not really seeing her. And. Well. He shakes his head no. No, he has no idea what's going on.]

[The smile's new to him, but it seems like a good sign. Clearly Naoto's pleased with this, and that's yet more info for him to file away. Real people...real emotions...were these what the Malnosso told him about?] How?

[This is getting really bizarre. Um.

He might as well go along with it.]

So, what're you doing out here?

[...Ven you just get a stare. And then he shakes his head. He's not entirely sure, the Malnosso just dumped him here.] ...walked.

[Well, that's pretty straightforward!]

Did something happen? You're wearing New Feather clothes.

[He looks over his shoulder at his wings, then over Ven's at his.] ...? [Wing...FLAPPING. Gogogo.]

[...Okay, something's definitely up.]

Didja get kidnapped?

[the more Sora silently watches, the more his expression darkens, but he isn't angry at Roxas. he's angry at the fact that there's nothing he can do about this, about preventing his friends from getting hurt, experimented on.]

You... know who I am, right?

[ Something interesting, you say? Here is a something interesting that is walking right up to Roxas and tilting his head. You okay there man? ]

[He hears the words...he registers the words...but he shakes his head slowly. Nope. Totally not registering. On the bright side being close to Sora and Ven isn't causing him pain of any sort.] ...who...?

[He did, but it's hard for Roxas to tell Ven that since he doesn't remember that part. He just remembers someone telling him his name and dumping him back in the forest in these pants. How he managed to make it to the village on his own is anybody's guess. So, he gives the most normal answer he can think of.]

[Oh bro you are not interesting...more like kind of scary. Roxas is going to jump back and swing his arm, his own weird way of defending himself. He doesn't run off, and he doesn't attack the creature, but he gives it a cautious look. What are you and why are you approaching? Okay, okay...walking closer again and peering down.]

...

[ Repliku startles at that. Whoa, dude, what's up with you? ]

[It's a long story that Roxas can't quite remember. He gives Repliku another blink, crouching a little to get a better look while still being on guard.] ...what...?

[ ... "What", what? Did your memories get screwed up? He's only been like this for almost a year now. ]
