Okay...since Axel seems to think it's a bad idea to try and teach the cat to ice skate, let me ask all of you a question. A friend and I are thinking about starting a business. It's something really good, promise.

Think about this. You have an important item but suddenly you can't find it. You think it might have even been stolen. So who would you call? The police, sure, but what about detectives?

[The camera's soon going to get a view of the front cover of a detective novel he picked up from the library.]

Even if it's not something a lot of people would use, I bet at least one person could use a few detectives around here, so I'm volunteering myself and Naoto Shirogane. Need a mystery to be solved? Call us. We all know weird stuff happens around here all the time...just look at last week.

[And with that being said, he's going to wander through KH house to see if Axel's home. He's had a few discussions with the older boy involving another certain bff and a certain redhead replica. And so there's a few minutes' pause before the next bit filters through.]

Really? Wonder how come I've never heard of him then. [that is to say, Roxas isn't sure he believes that.]

Cool...but that can wait. Do you maybe want to hang out before then? We can take a walk or something, start talking out some ideas.

I was surprised I hadn't heard of him before our meeting either. It's even more surprising that you haven't seeing as how you like to keep tabs on these types of things.

[And he'll stroll up to her, dressed in his jacket and his scarf. He waves at her then, grinning slightly.] Hey.

This will be my seventh month. Why?

Just curious, that's all. I usually keep track of how long everyone I've talked to has been here.

That's quite the task. It's only fair if I ask you the same question, right?

A little, yeah. I've got it all on a piece of paper somewhere just for a reference.

Me? ...it's been a little over three years.

Ah, a veteran. Have you noticed any patterns in the amount of time people spend here?

[Naoto smiles and stands up, returning the wave before putting her hands in her own jacket pockets since it's kinda cold] Good afternoon, Roxas-kun.

The ones who are kept here the longest tend to be the ones they like messing with the most. Drafting them, taunting them with the Shifts, that sort of thing.

Where do you want to go today?

[She takes a look around as she thinks about this] Would a walk around the village suffice? We can head to the library later on if you'd like.

That sounds good. It's not too bad out today, just a little windy. Let's go. [And he starts to lead the way.]

You could make it a surprise. And teach the cat, then show him the cat was fine with it.
