Okay...since Axel seems to think it's a bad idea to try and teach the cat to ice skate, let me ask all of you a question. A friend and I are thinking about starting a business. It's something really good, promise.

Think about this. You have an important item but suddenly you can't find it. You think it might have even been stolen. So who would you call? The police, sure, but what about detectives?

[The camera's soon going to get a view of the front cover of a detective novel he picked up from the library.]

Even if it's not something a lot of people would use, I bet at least one person could use a few detectives around here, so I'm volunteering myself and Naoto Shirogane. Need a mystery to be solved? Call us. We all know weird stuff happens around here all the time...just look at last week.

[And with that being said, he's going to wander through KH house to see if Axel's home. He's had a few discussions with the older boy involving another certain bff and a certain redhead replica. And so there's a few minutes' pause before the next bit filters through.]

Sounds like a pretty interesting service. I'll keep it in mind if something goes missing.

[A detective agency? Huh... Luke hasn't really thought about detectives. If he lost something, then he lost it. But it does sound like a good idea...

Just as he's about to open his mouth, though, a filter comes through to him. And that message just instantly makes him uneasy.]

Oh... Okay. Right now? [He's kind of in lounging clothes right now...]

Why not? It's the next natural step after skateboarding and painting.

Really? That'd be great, Gin--

[Waiiiit hang on. It's about then his brain catches up. He has to double-check the picture in his journal to make sure he's talking to the same woman.]

They haven't taken away your ability to speak yet?

Sooner or later, yeah. We'll be home all day but probably before it gets dark.

[Well Naoto can't say this hasn't made her day. Getting to solve mysteries again--even if they only end up being simple ones--will make her happier than she's been in a while. Not that she hasn't been incredibly happy! Just... happier than that.

With a smile, she speaks] Thank you.

Don't thank me yet. I haven't even picked up a case for us.

Right... I'll be there soon.

[And so, he closes the journal, gets up, and gets dressed for a proper day. Man, he was hoping he could stay home for a while... But this seems important, if not nerve wracking, and he rather likes Xion's close friends.

And true to his word, about half an hour later, there's a knock on Roxas' door. Hurry up, man, it's cold.]

[And shortly after the knocking, Roxas will open the door.] That was fast. [He'll let Luke come inside, shutting the door behind him. Also possibly discreetly making sure Xion's not around to see this.]

Hey. Axel's back in his room. Wanna head that way? [He's already going so Luke probably has no choice.]

Because you have advertised our services over the journals, I'm sure we will get cases in no time. [A hum] Should we still proceed with making small posters to place around the village?

It couldn't hurt. I'm pretty good at distributing posters. [Hello odd-jobs of plastering posters for the Struggle tournament.] What should we say on them, just that we're offering the services?

[Luke was just letting out a sigh and relaxing his arms - they had been tight around his body to keep some warmth inside, see - when Roxas decided to head back. Ah...]

Sure, I... guess. [His tone sounds as if he knows he's not getting much of a choice here, and he follows Roxas back to his room. He takes a quick glance as well, wondering if Xion's anywhere nearby. Not really to save him, or for comfort, but just because it'd be nice if she were here.]

Alright. [Go jumping on roofs and everything Roxas] Yes. It would be best to add any other details if possible, along with a picture or two. Just the information itself written on a blank sheet of paper will do us no good, it doesn't catch as much attention.

[Axel was just chilling back here while waiting for Luke to arrive. Once Roxas walks in with Luke behind him, Axel stands up from his seat at his desk to greet the other redhead.]

Yo, Luke. Have a seat. [Motions to the chair he was just sitting in.]

All right, all right. What kind of picture? [He's already grabbing a free sheet of paper to start working out a flyer design.]

[And Roxas is going to make sure Luke's in the room before shutting the door and leaning against it.] Yeah, make yourself comfortable. Axel's chair's pretty nice.

[Welp, Roxas just barricaded the door. Sort of.

JEEEEZ okay Luke will just eye the door for a second before he moves to sit in the chair. Slowly. Because this is making him kind of nervous, even more so with Roxas leaning against the door like that and him being the only one sitting...]

It is kind of nice... [Okay, that was a dumb thing to say, but he's just trying to break that tension in the air a little. Once that's out of the way, he looks up at the two of them, confusion all over his face.] So... You wanted to talk to me about something?

Wouldn't that just encourage more thefts?

Why won't he let you teach the cat to ice skate? [It seems reasonable to him...]

There's a mysterious pile of dishes in the sink. Just appeared there one day, and seems to be getting bigger.

It might, but once people see how good Naoto and I are at solving things the crime rate would go back down, don't you think?

[THANK YOU.] I don't know. He thinks it's ridiculous or something.

Yeah? Let me solve that for you. Hmm...looks like the culprit is you, and your punishment is doing time with some soap and water.

Give me something harder.

[A habitual shake of her head, but right, journals.]

Still blind, still talking. Over a week now, I'm a little surprised.

Ah... that sounds pretty cool! [Seriously, detectives are one of the best things ever.] I'd definitely like to wish you and Shirogane-san good luck with this!

Though, training a cat to skate does sound like it'd be a little difficult...

Oh, we just figured it was time we got to know you a little. Right, Roxas?

[Sloooowly circles around to the other side of Luke.]

He's pretty good at what he does.

I'm surprised too. Usually the effects don't last that long. But I mean...it's kind of a good thing, right?

Exactly right, Axel. So, Luke...do you want to make this easy or hard? You can always start out by telling us anything you think we need to know.
