I only have one simple question for everybody.

[Which is a surprise in and of itself. For Roxas, who generally asks lots of questions and pokes and prods at everything, simple isn't exactly something that fits in his vocabulary.]

What do you do when you've run out of things to do? [A pause.] I mean I've been here for 1,558 days. My cat refuses to keep up his painting and skateboarding lessons. ~~Axel's still gone, and Xion has Luke.~~ Time...moves really fast, and I guess I'm just now noticing.

At least it's close to Christmas again. I've really grown to like the snow and the holiday, maybe almost as much as Sora. Heh. All right, I don't think anyone can love Christmas as much as he can. That'll be something to keep me busy for a while, but what then? I think I've read almost every book in the library by now. Is there more that I can learn still, or does it all just stop?

Anyway, I don't really expect an answer, but I'd appreciate it if anyone had some advice.

A new skill set, anything you haven't tried before.

Attempt to attain a new skill in something you have not tried before whether it may be cooking or learning a specific fighting style, invent unique tools, read a book you have yet to read, discover a new mystery to engross yourself in. [Did you see that last one coming Roxas]

There is an endless amount of things you can find to preoccupy your time, Roxas.

The Commodore, huh. What's he like?

But what if I've tried everything? [It's a little bit of an exaggeration, but.] There's a few things like, I don't know, knitting, but it's not something I'd really consider to be helpful you know?

What would you try?

[He saw it. And he kind of groans because aw, Naoto, come on.]

Do you ever feel like they all just seem to blend together though, Naoto?

Deeply mysterious. Even I don't know a lot about him.

[It's totally selfish, but it may well work.]

Do you have any interests in ships? I have one that is always in need of crew. Physical labour, somewhat tiring, but plenty to do.

But why would he help Ven with something like that?

A ship? Like an actual boat. [Because his first thought, of course, was a gummi ship.] I know a little about them from some books I've read. They're kind of interesting, I guess. What kind of work can you be doing in the winter though?

Who knows?! Maybe he'll set you up with a hopefully more buxom girlfriend of your own.

But there's painting to be done, for one. Besides, learning the masts, the sails, the parts of a ship. Better to learn before you're out on the open ocean. If you're interested.

I just might be. I like painting, and I like to think I'm a fast learner. How big is your crew now anyway?

Oh, desperately so.

Only a handful, at best, which means there's plenty to be done, and it'll take awhile to do.
