Fourteenth Keychain-[Voice/Action]

[is currently sitting next to the river, skipping rocks with his skateboard sitting next to him] I have to admit, I'm pretty glad to only have one head again but the fur was keeping me pretty warm. Seems like everybody else has gone back to normal too. What was that all about anyway?

It's interesting, the new feathers that are coming into Luceti. People I never thought I'd see again for one. Not sure what I think. Guess I never am.

I feel pretty restless. I wish it wasn't this cold outside. I need to get back to researching but there's this block in my brain.

[loud sigh] Whatever, I don't care. [throws a heavier rock into the river and listens to the loud "plop!" sound]

Can't say I know Sora, but why is that?

Because that's just how everything works out. I'm Sora, Sora's me. Just that Sora's usually the more dominant. [confused yet Irvine?]

...in my universe, there're these creatures called Heartless, creatures from the darkness of people's hearts that are given a shape. There's also a person called the Keyblade Master who goes around fighting against the darkness. Sora's the Keyblade Master. There are also things called Nobodies, what's left behind once a person's consumed by Heartless.

Anyway, a while ago, maybe about a year ago actually, Sora was traveling to find his best friends Kairi and Riku. Long story short, Riku was consumed in darkness and Kairi's heart was gone cause she's a Princess of Heart and without knowing it Sora was carrying Kairi's heart inside him. Once he found out though, he had to unlock his own heart to release Kairi's, surrender to the darkness and all that. Once he did that, Sora's heart split into three pieces; Sora, his Heartless, his Nobody.

Because Kairi's a Princess of Heart, she had the power to basically put Sora back to his original pure-hearted form but at the same time, his Nobody and his Heartless still existed. The Heartless was forced to return to Sora's heart but for a while, the Nobody was free to wander on its own before eventually remerging with Sora.

Where do you fit in that picture?

I'm the Nobody. So...I am Sora, Sora is me.

Nobody is kind of a harsh term, don't you think?

Just what is a Nobody, anyway?

Basically like I said earlier a Nobody is what's left over by people whose hearts have been consumed by the Heartless. Nobodies are born when a heart is swallowed by darkness and becomes a Heartless. They are the remaining parts left behind by the heart: the body, giving a Nobody form, and the soul, giving the Nobody life. Those with the strongest wills manage to retain human forms with some slight changes to their appearance. Others...not so much. Therefore, the more humanoid a Nobody, the more powerful it is. This is opposite the nature of the Heartless, whose form is more monstrous the stronger the original heart is.

All Nobodies are born in a world in-between the realms of light and darkness. However, because of this and their lack of hearts, they are shunned by both light and darkness, and do not truly exist.

Because of their missing hearts, Nobodies lack emotion. On the other hand, Nobodies manage to keep their memories of their former lives. However, even though Nobodies don't have emotions, they can think and plan, unlike Heartless who just attack.

Of course, there are some unusual Nobodies that almost have real emotions but they also don't have the memories of their Other. It's all complicated.

Sounds complicated, but you seem like you've got emotions to me.

Just call me an unusual Nobody.

Ah. Now I see where we're getting here.

The cool thing about Luceti is that Sora, Aros and I all exist on our own instead of just through Sora.

And Aros would be the Heartless?

Man, talk about complicated. I guess I understand.

It's extremely complicated, especially if you're not from our world.

I'll eventually understand. I guess it'll just take a little time to fully get it.
