I'm not sure I can say for Edward, but for me, it was a little different. You see, what caught my attention was the mystery that surrounded him. When I first met him, I didn't know that he was a vampire, I just knew he wasn't human, and the more I tried to find out the truth about him, the more I found myself falling in love with him. Before I knew it, nothing else mattered except for the fact that I loved him.
