[so, nobody's really seen Roxas for the past few days/week because he's been hiding out at the lake. Today the blond boy has his feet in the water and he's laying on his back, reading a copy of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and actually relaxing. Or day-dreaming, whichever. Next to him is a small fox who's busy trying to catch a fish, so Roxas is gonna talk to him anyway]

If Alice fell down the rabbit hole, and I fell down the barrier into the forest...and if Alice saw a bunch of weird whimsical things that never existed in her own world, and I'm meeting people and seeing things I've never seen before...and the Queen was trying to more or less torture Alice in her kingdom, and the Malnosso are terrorizing us in their own world...does that make Luceti my own Wonderland?

Kind of messed up, isn't it?

[The fox voices his agreement and Roxas sighs, going back to reading the book instead. Feel free to bother him, really]

We've seen and been places people here could never dream of. Different worlds, different people. You've seen your Other save the world, Roxas. If you were going to wake up, it would have been a long time ago, before you looked up at the sky in the Dark City and stared up at Kingdom Hearts. Before you've actually visited to Wonderland. Or any of the other worlds we've been to.

Then why are we here, Axel? Why Luceti? Why are we trapped in a place so plain in comparison to everything we've seen?

That's an answer I don't have. Does anyone here even really know that answer?

So is it really worth it? You'll lose everything again.

It's probably not...what do I have to gain from this anyway? A lot less than I could lose, will lose.

No...but Twilight Town was fake and things hurt there too.

People can die here, in Twilight Town you were kept from dying.
