[Nope, it's not letting go. Hakkai grabbed it forcefully, unfortunately dragging Roxas along. He noticed his struggle and sought to calm him down.]

I'm so very sorry, he's not usually like this. I know it's a lot to ask but could you please stop? He may let go if he's less excitable.

[stops moving completely then] Um...thanks. [totally just gonna stare at said-dragon since he's stopped running around]

[He managed to pry the dragon off and gave him a stern glance which Hakuryuu took as his opportunity to chirp wildly in defense. Hakkai's frown melted away, replaced with surprise before he turned to Roxas.]

He seemed to be under the impression you needed help?

[Hakkai looked Roxas over, not noticing anything out of the ordinary. Still, just to make sure...]

...yeah, I'm fine. Very, incredibly confused, but no damage other than to my pride. I swear when I find Riku...

Yes, I am rather confused myself.

[Hakkai gave his pet an odd look to which Hakuryuu merely chirped weakly. It may have started out as anger but somewhere along the way Hakuryuu had sensed something and acted as it felt was best. Even Hakkai had sensed something odd with the boy when he'd first passed but had thought little of it. However the feeling was gone as if it never existed. Hakkai decided to write it off as a bad day and gave the boy an apologetic bow.]

I do apologize for the trouble we've caused you. If you're...sure you're okay then I had best be off. Good day.

[Hakkai smiled in response, slightly amused by the confusion on the boys face. Today was turning out to be quite the adventure after all. He gave Roxas a small wave, returning to his task of figuring out just what Luceti was and what Hakkai's place was in all of it.]
