Forty-Fourth Keychain-[Action]

[perplexme]

[Today, Roxas is out wandering around town just to get out of the apartment for a while. Though it's slightly chilly, he's pretty content to stay where he is as he's busy taking note of the happenings in town. He's not quite sure about the thought bubbles and why they're showing up, but it's entertaining to say the least.]

Everybody has weird thoughts, don't they?

[He eventually stops on a bench and sits down, continuing his people-watching from there. What Roxas doesn't seem to realize though is that he also has thought bubbles showing up above his head.]

(Well...good to know that if it comes down to it, I probably won't look terrible in a dress. The difference is I could probably sing better than Sora can.)

[ And he takes pride in that.

Rep has no need for your silly "blocking", so he just takes the attack and retaliates with a double swipe. ]

[He manages to move out of the way of the first swipe, but he wasn't anticipating a double so yeah, totally being hit right now ktnx. Don't mind him, Roxas is just going to retaliate with a strike raid or two.]

[ Augh dammit that is painful. That makes Repliku reel for a few moments before he regains his bearings and resets his stance, trying to figure out a new plan of attack. ]

[Roxas is going to skid to a stop a good distance away, poised for another attack. This isn't good. This is just like fighting the Riku he remembers, the one who actually eventually defeated him. Granted, Roxas knows he's probably still a bit stronger. He's just..watching. And waiting.]

[ Repliku is getting there. His power isn't maturing the same way, but he's slowly reaching the strength Roxas knows. Even if he himself doesn't realize it. ]

Hardly. [ And he jumps up and slams his sword into the ground, sending out a shockwave, starting off Helm Split. ]

[That's probably not a good thing. And he was expecting that even less so hold on, Roxas is going to falter briefly before jumping up and sending those huge pillars of light he's so fond of. Only three though. Thanks, powercap.]

[ Does that count as a card break? I think that counts as a card break. The attack connects, and for a moment, Rep is down hard. ]

[Poor Rep. Roxas isn't done yet, so have another strike raid.]

[ asdfjkl and he'd just almost stood up, too. No more mister nice guy. The moment Repliku gets enough of a break to steady himself, he holds his sword above his head, glowing. Your ass is so getting Dark Aura'd :| ]

[WELL THIS IS BAD. And this is something Roxas had completely forgotten about. Or he never knew. Hell, it's hard to keep track when he knows of three versions of Riku. He knows better than to stand there, but he neds to think about how to counter this.]

[ Better decide fast because Rep is CHARGING RIGHT NOW ]

[Busy charging at, dragging his Keyblades behind him and jumping up to try and swipe at him, since he doesn't believe in defending himself right now.]

[ That's not gonna be enough to stop him, as Rep vanishes and reappears off to the side, still rushing forwards. ]

[No no no! Okay, roll out of the way!]

[ Attack's not over yet, and he vanishes and appears elsewhere again. ]

[Ahhh not good. Okay, looking around to try and keep up, throwing another strike raid] Give up already.

[ He can't stop mid-attack even if he wanted to, Roxas. A charge, and he jumps, taking the first part but avoiding the keyblade's second strike on its return. He slams the ground, sending out a shockwave and a few (but still not enough grumble grumble) pillars of energy. ]

[He stumbles a little at the shockwave, and when he thinks he's free from it, surprise, no, one of those pillars actually slams into him and knocks him over.]

[ Repliku is slow to pull himself to his feet, and when he does, he sways a moment, but holds his ground. He echoes Roxas, ] That the best you can do?

[He stands up and holds his Keyblades up to defend himself.] I don't waste this much time on the real Riku. Why bother with you?

[ He resets his stance, but he knows that he's not in any shape to fight for very much longer. ] Because I'm not a loser like him.

You're not like him much in the first place. [Roxas, why do you insist on pushing the Replica's buttons? Oh right, testing.]

[ That gets a sneer, and then in a tone of voice that just might not be entirely sarcastic, ] Thanks. [ And he summons up most of his strength for one last charge. ]

Don't thank me, that makes it sound like a good thing. [Roxas doesn't want to keep using his strength, but he'll go for one more strike raid, just to keep Replica at bay.]
