So...if people you know are keeping secrets from you, should you bother asking them about it until they cave in, or just believe them when they say it's for your own good? How would you know it's for your own good...actually, how would they know? It's your good, not theirs, right?

[He left this unfiltered from certain people on purpose, mostly hoping he could draw out the answers he wanted. The strikes aren't too legible, but if a person squinted enough and tilted their head, they could probably make them out.]

I guess so. But there are some people who don't mind hurting themselves. What about those kind of people?

I don't really know. Hurting yourself isn't the same as hurting someone else.

A lot? How many secrets are these guys keeping from you?

I don't know. Maybe they thing they're sparing the ones they care about from something painful.

Probably a lot more than I think. There are secrets about stuff from over two years ago still, so who knows how many.

[Hey, it was worth a shot. But Roxas was serious, and Axel knew it was impossible to get out of it.]

There might be a lot you're missing, there might not be. Hard to keep track anymore.

[He pauses then, because in his/Xion's/Sora's case, hurting yourself does hurt other people.] True. Sorry it's really confusing, I was just wondering if there was a real reason why people bother.

Is there any way of convincing people that it's less painful to just say everything they know? Like if it might potentially save somebody else.

Maybe you should just tell me everything that you know. Start from the beginning and I'll tell you what I already know and what I don't.

Maybe another time...you were there for a while before me and Xion. So, start from there.

Did... Something happen between you and your friends? Or people you trusted...

Happened, happening...it's kind of complicated since I'm not sure what I'm actually missing here.

[Clears his throat.]

Well. There I was, minding my own business walking around Twilight Town when out pops the Superior to give me a surprise mission. That mission was to babysit you. You had just been 'born' and you were completely out of it. Didn't even remember I took you up to the clocktower for ice cream that day. I knew about Sora by that point from what Xemnas had told us, and I knew you were his Nobody. After that they made me sort of like your mentor and a week after you were brought to the Organization Xion was brought in. I really didn't know who or what she was then.

After I came back from Castle Oblivion we all became friends, remember? And when Xion stopped being able to use the Keyblade I managed to get Saix to put you guys on the same missions. Then when Xion found out about what she was she ran away, and I guess that's when she came into contact with Riku for the first time. It was around that time I was told what she was. And it wasn't that hard to understand what the Organization planned on doing.

Once Xion ran away I got the orders to bring her back. You found her first in Twilight Town but I had to knock her out to bring her back. You started to get weaker after that and she just got stronger. The Organization at that point decided you weren't needed anymore, so they decided to move on with Xion's programming. They tried to get you guys to fight each other but I stepped in before that could happen. Xion ran away again and I was once again given the orders to bring her back. I found her in Twilight Town in front of the old mansion, and she wouldn't budge. She made me fight her. And I won, barely. Once I brought her back to the castle I passed out... and that's was the last time I saw her. I don't know what happened after that point.

Then you left and I now had to go after you. Found you in the fake Twilight Town. You know the rest, right?

[That...is a lot of information to take in. He's just going to stare at him blankly for a minute before he fills in the rest of the story.] I had to fight Xion as a monster, I killed her, she died in my arms, and then all of those memories got erased. Yeah, I know the rest.

...Axel, if you knew what she was and what was happening to her, why didn't you tell me?

I sort of understand.

They don't know. And it's impossible for you to truly know either.

Whether you choose to ask or to believe them isn't something that other people can really advise you on properly I don't think.

...mind elaborating for me? If it's okay, I mean.

Guess I thought I was doing what was best for you. Not like I don't regret now not telling you.

How can it be impossible?

Advise me or not, I was just curious if anybody else had any sort of experience.

[ man, Roxas, low blow, even if she does gather that this is probably more about Axel than about her. Xion's up on the roof right now, and once she sees this entry, she's nooot entirely sure she even wants to come down and talk to him in person, or risk running into Axel. Instead she just replies verbally with a sigh. ]

Some parts I'm not allowed to.

Why? Why would you think that not telling me what was happening to one of our best friends would be best for me? Maybe I could have helped stop it the first time if I knew sooner.
