So...if people you know are keeping secrets from you, should you bother asking them about it until they cave in, or just believe them when they say it's for your own good? How would you know it's for your own good...actually, how would they know? It's your good, not theirs, right?

This time, yeah. All of this has happened before I guess, even if I still don't remember all of what happened. But this time, Sora's only lost certain memories.

Roxas, you aren't the only one that was lied to. [ she doesn't sound accusatory, just ... sad, bewildered, tense. ] Maybe the Organization ordered him to... I don't know! All I know is that he's our friend. Why can't that just be what matters?

At least you missed the war where they actually were really close to the village, right?

Before the Organization, huh? Well... I came from Radiant Garden. Like a lot of the Organization members did. I even met a few back when we all had hearts. I remember one particular time when I was about your age I was trying to sneak into the castle with a friend and Xaldin picked us up and threw us out on our rears. It's funny now that I think back on it. We'd hang out and eat ice cream when we weren't plotting something. Other than that I'm still pretty much the same as I was back then. Just a different name and older now.

Yeah, I did. [ His inner pessimist says it's probably a matter of time before he gets to see a close-to-the-village war for himself, but why spread that little gem around? ]

I guess that makes more sense now. I always thought it was a little weird. [Here, have a tentative smile at least?]

And the mass amount of deaths thanks to an experiment gone wrong. This place just doesn't give up.
