Forty-Sixth Keychain-[Voice//Action for Axel]

[perplexme]

[It's been a few days since the fight with Xion, and it's been a few days since Roxas passed out and fell into his own deep sleep. Unlike his Other though, he didn't need a week to recover. He's not even aware Sora's awake yet, or that Xion's not back yet. He doesn't open his eyes right away once he realizes he's conscious again, groping on the bedside table for his journal before opening it, ignoring a weight on his chest. He just assumes he's still not feeling well and keeping his eyes closed, he fiddles with the journal before setting it up for a voice post.]

What day is it, and what have I missed?

[The journal might also catch the sounds of an inquisitive 'mew', which catches Roxas by surprise and his eyes fly open. He closes the journal then and sits up slightly, staring at the kitten that's giving him an equally confused look.]

...hey, Axel?

[He gives him another confused look before trying to pet it again, this time succeeding. He scratches behind the kitten's ears, shaking his head.] Where'd you even find it?

[flaring]

Found it wandering around the plaza area about a week ago and it was skinny so it probably wasn't somebody's pet, so I fed it a few times. Thought it might be a nice surprise for when you woke up and for Xion when she gets back.

[perplexme]

It's cute, thanks. She's going to love it. [Petting the kitten, but he's in deep thought then.] ...she's still not back? [Still not aware how long he was out.]

[flaring]

[Scratches the back of his head.]

Ahh, not yet. I think she's still got a few more days.

[perplexme]

Man...[He's rubbing the back of his head a little, scratching the kitten under its chin now.] Head still hurts. How long has it been?

[flaring]

You've been out for four days. Sora's awake now if you want to go see him.

[perplexme]

Is he okay? [Note that he doesn't react to going to see his twin right off the bat.]

[flaring]

For the most part.

[perplexme]

Good. [He watches as the kitten rolls onto its back while being on Roxas' chest. The kitten is obviously a good distraction so he doesn't have to explain things.] Is it a boy or a girl?

[flaring]

I'm pretty sure it's a boy. Needs a name, too.

[perplexme]

I don't know what to name a cat. [Busy playing with its paw still.]

[flaring]

Anything you can think of.

[perplexme]

[He sits up a little taller to look over the kitten some more.] He's got a lot of colors to him. Maybe something like that? [Think think think.]

[flaring]

Name it Marble.

[perplexme]

Marbles are only two colors. He's three. [He hums a little as he pokes the kitten in the nose.] ...what about Neapolitan?

[flaring]

Like the ice cream?

[perplexme]

Yeah. It's got three colors too, so why not?

[flaring]

Heh, I like it. But it's kinda a mouthful.

[perplexme]

Yeah...it needs to be shortened, huh? To what, Poly? Nea? Kitty?
