So let's say that someone recently showed up in this place, but they're from a time where they remember you differently. How can you tell them about how things are in the future without ruining everything? And this isn't just a "oh I moved away" sort of difference, this is something a lot bigger...like memories.

727 days. Nearly two years, and I still don't see any signs of me going home anytime soon. Should I consider that a good thing or a bad thing? For those of you who have been here that long, what do you think?

The only two options we really have I guess are to keep lying about it, or just tell the truth. How badly would telling the truth affect you and your situation?

Probably the same. No, scratch that, definitely the same. He won't believe me first of all, and then he'll get made for "lying" about it.

That's kind of where I am too. I understand most of it, but when I try explaining it it just because a giant mess. At least it's not just me.

Harder to prove it here than at home then?

Yeah. I guess the simplest way to explain it is just that my friend is following the wrong ideas, and a lot of bad things will happen if he keeps following them.

...sounds a lot like something else one of my friend's friends was dealing with. There's gotta be an easy way to at least explain that.

He doesn't really listen back home, and when he's from, it hasn't even happened yet. So I don't know how I could explain it here.
