So let's say that someone recently showed up in this place, but they're from a time where they remember you differently. How can you tell them about how things are in the future without ruining everything? And this isn't just a "oh I moved away" sort of difference, this is something a lot bigger...like memories.

727 days. Nearly two years, and I still don't see any signs of me going home anytime soon. Should I consider that a good thing or a bad thing? For those of you who have been here that long, what do you think?

No, not all people. More like just two people...or maybe just the people from my world since they're all kind of involved too? Everybody except this one guy is in the loop, but I don't really know how to tell him the truth about it.

Exactly. I mean, I already know what the answer is because I'm further ahead in time than he is, but that means that both of us are technically not real right now? Or maybe Hayner's real now but his memories are fake? I don't even know anymore. This is why I have no idea what to even say to him about it.

I gotta admire the amount of confusion this whole thing has created in my head right now, you know? It's something else.

No, no--I'm confused a lot, actually. Where I'm from, we're almost constantly saving the world. It's our thing.

Mostly? Ultimate evil. Also, lots of vampires, demons, curses. You know--bad stuff.

A lot of people around here are from someplace where they're busy saving the world. So what, there's a lot of that in your world? Because that kind of sounds like it would be a bad situation.

To be honest, it seems like most of the bad stuff happens right in our town. It was built over this thing called a hellmouth, which--is exactly what it sounds like. A portal to Bad Things.

Then what's the point of still living there? Kind of sounds like something that'd make me move.

I was trying to move out when I got dumped into this place. That would be an example of the Harris luck, holding true. Look, man--I hope you can figure out the right thing to do. It sounds like a tough situation.

No, the wings are a pleasant new addition to our normal chaotic existence. They'd be totally useless if they didn't make it so hard to sleep at night.

Yeah, I know. Two years here and I'm still trying to get used to having the wings around. I don't think I'll ever get used to it.
