Fifty-Second Keychain - [Voice/Action]

[Roxas has spent the last few weeks doing a great impression of a chameleon, blending in with his surroundings and making sure not many people saw or heard from him. But he's come to find that he can't keep hiding, and he can't keep running.

Thus, today, nearly three weeks after the attack on KH house and a week after Sanji revealed the location of the house to him, Roxas has finally decided to approach home to try and face his two best friends.

...or...not. To anyone passing by, they might see Roxas just pacing back and forth in the area, never straying far from what appears to be an empty lot. To anyone who can see the house however, it's very clear what's going on.]

This really shouldn't be that hard.

[Soon though he stops and pulls out his journal, leaning against a tree to keep an eye on the house while he flips to a new page. He takes a few moments to gather his thoughts, but soon he speaks into the journal.]

...anybody have any good advice for making apologies?

Everybody makes mistakes. Even if it's something bad, it doesn't mean your friends'll hate you for it.

[Axel was on his way back to the house when he passes the tree Roxas is leaning against. He stops, pausing for a few moments before glances back at Roxas there. He's surprised to see him, but he's also mostly annoyed it's taken Roxas this long to come back. And Axel's not afraid to make the fact he's annoyed be known.]

Just visiting or are you finally coming back?

[He jumps in surprise at the sound of Axel's voice before promptly freezing a bit. It wasn't that he was expecting Axel to still be bedridden, but he also wasn't expecting the taller Nobody to ambush him like this.]

...depends on if I'm allowed to come back or not.

This is your home, isn't it?

I guess, but can I really call it that when I left it open for attack like that?

You could try just saying you're sorry.

Xion...[Crap. He had thought about filtering the question, really he did, but he didn't. He didn't think that Xion would respond.

The problem, Roxas realized a bit too late, was that he didn't think.]

...but is sorry going to be good enough?

[ voice ]

No. [ that might be a sniffle -- and that might be her rubbing at her eyes. after a pause ] You dummy, just come home!

[ voice ]

[perplexme]

[He didn't think so, but he blinks in surprise at that last statement.]

...I'm already home. I'm outside.

Depends on who you're apologizing to. If they're a friend, then they'll probably be pretty good at telling if you do. If you don't know 'em, don't bother. [ don't listen to social advice from her, young Roxas. ]

They're my best friends, so yeah I'm going to try. [Pfff. Roxas' social skills aren't that great to begin with, so he'll take what he can get.]
