That is true. It's similar to the investigation team and myself. We would have never known about the shadows or Izanami if we had never entered the TV.

Izanami was the one who gifted Souji-senpai with the power of the persona. She is a goddess who attempted to turn everyone into shadows because she despised man.

What words did you use, exactly?

But you guys stopped her, right? She didn't go crazy and destroy the world?

Yes, thankfully, we were able to stop her in time. If we hadn't received the letter from Adachi before Souji-senpai departed, she may have gotten away with turning us into shadows.

And what'd the letter say?

There wasn't much written in the letter, if I recall correctly. He had only said that there were still loose ends, that something hadn't felt right to him. It was only then that we realized there were some questions that remained unanswered.

And then you started to investigate and that's how you put a stop to it. Is that right?

He better. I've been trying to tell people what I really think of them more and more lately.

Yes, though the investigation to actually finding Izanami did not take long. Souji-senpai was able to remember where he had experienced some rather strange things the year before, when he first arrived in Inaba.

That's good. You're opening up.

Sounds like you guys almost had an easy way out. I'm kind of jealous.

Is that really a good thing though, or is it dangerous?

[fortuneprince]

Both. It depends on who you're talking to though. Opening up allows the other person to learn about your weaknesses. On the other hand, opening up will bring you closer to those who wish to be your friends.

[perplexme]

It's the former that I worry about, especially with people like the Organization. [Not that he has to worry about that anymore since hahaha, they're all kinda dead.]

I understand. But I wouldn't worry about that all too much. You like to know people before you begin to open up, you try to understand them first.

...yeah, I guess I do. It's no different here.

That may be true but... would you really have preferred to take the easy way out? You wouldn't have been allowed the opportunity to figure things out on your own.

[She looks to the ground, almost flustering] Maybe I'm the only one who would prefer that option.

It would have saved me a lot of time...but I guess you're right. I wouldn't have had that opportunity...or the opportunity for much of anything.

Precisely. That's why the easiest way isn't always the best.
