[sometime after Xion is brought safely to the clinic, Sora seeks Roxas out, his eyes uncomfortably dark. he's had enough of this. too many people have been hurt. his palms are itching, but he's kept his cool for the most part so far, partly for Kairi's sake, and at least until he's certain that their friends are safe for now.]

[and he's certain. and he tries on a smile anyway, though it's tight and thin-lipped.]

Roxas, will you help me with something? [it reads almost like a plea.]

[Roxas doesn't even have to really think about it, easily able to read what Sora's true intentions are. He nods though, keeping up the charade and his neutrality.]

[safety in numbers and all-- and Sora trusts Roxas' abilities after fighting alongside him the last draft.]

Looks like you read my mind. Let's go, we're just wasting time standing here. We should check the west first. It's going to stay darkest there the longest.

Right. [lead the way, Roxas-- Sora will keep up, but he'll be constantly looking over his shoulder and prodding anything that looks suspicious with his Keyblade.]

[Roxas is silent for a moment as he patrols with Sora, snarling a bit as he whacks an innocent bush with his Keyblade. He's only using one blade for now.]

I can't believe this. Can't believe this. What was the point of hiding the house and trying to protect ourselves if he could still attack any of us?

[he's silent at first, letting Roxas vent exactly what he's feeling.]

We couldn't have holed up in the house forever... He knew that.

[Luke joins Roxas in the staaaaaaring up. He's seen big monsters, but...] I don't know... It looks like it's just the neck that's huge. [The rest of it's pretty large too, of course, but if you shorten the neck...]

Yeah, you're right. ...I wonder if you could make a slide out of them. [Why his brain went there, the world may never know. It's a legitimate question, too.]

[Who knows? ... But now Luke's brain is going there too, judging by the pause, the tilt of the head as he imagines it, and...]

... You know, that's not a bad idea.

...let's try it. It can't be that hard to get up there.

... But what if someone sees us?

[Luke looks over his shoulder as if to look for any droids. But with the way he slowly heads toward the railing... He's probably going to get in there anyway.]

So what? Maybe we can get them to give us a boost. [Roxas is already at the railing, trying to figure out how to get up and over it. He'll start to climb a little, not really going anywhere before examining the area.]

You're not scared, are you, Luke?

She nods] Alright. We need to be quick, they'll be chasing us--or rather me.

How fast can you run?

Fast. [You're talking to a girl who's persona masters in agility]

[...and he's just going to start running to the bakery. Come on Naoto. Come on little duckies.]

[And Naoto's just going to start running right after Roxas. The moment they take off though, so do the ducks, and some of them even trying to fly after Naoto while the others just run and quack at her]

[Oh my gosh why are the ducks so brutal? Roxas is just going to pick up speed, making sure Naoto's right behind him and trying not to run into people. 'Scuse us, wild ducks and children coming through.]

[Being called out to the library by Roxas isn't something that's too surprising but it was a little out of the blue. Not to mention, he seemed pretty excited over the journal too, so she's pretty curious about what he has to show her.

Once she gets inside, she takes off her scarf and walks around until she spots him. She smiles] Hello, Roxas-kun.

[Roxas is currently huddled over something he's keeping shielded from Naoto, but he looks up and grins widely. Excited is a bit of an understatement.]

Hey! Glad you could meet me on short notice. How's it going?

[Ah--what are you hiding from Naoto, Roxas? You have her even more curious now. She step a bit closer to see if she can see what it is... but sadly she can't]

It's going well, I suppose. It would be going better if I could figure out what you're concealing from me. [She chuckles]

Well...remember how we said we needed to come up with new posters to advertise our agency? I think I've got the perfect one.

Really? Let me see.

[He's going to lean back in his chair then to show her the poster. It's designed with a style of calligraphy detailing all of the information they have to over (their names, how to contact them, etc.) The picture on the bottom includes a pipe, a detective hat like Sherlock's and a magnifying glass.

In retrospect it's not that creative but he's still pretty pleased.]
