...maybe. I've never really understood the whole point of Santa Claus in the first place.

It's just something to used to try and maintain good behavior in children. And entertain them as well. [She smiles] Personally, I never believed in Santa Clause as a child.

I'm not surprised. Did you believe in any of that kind of stuff?

Not really. As you can probably imagine, I'm not one for fairly tales and the like.

Even though I basically proved that they're real?

Well... it's still difficult for me to grasp. It isn't that I don't take your word for it because I do. I'd just rather see the evidence with my own eyes before bringing myself to believe in it entirely.

Maybe someday when we leave you can come with me and Sora to see Christmas Town. Then you can meet Santa yourself.

[Not the answer she was expecting, but it makes her smile and even laugh a little] I'd like that. It would be a very interesting sight to see.

You'd be amazed by all the things we've seen. Sora's seen giant skeletons, pirates, mermaids, aliens...

[AND WHALES IN SPACE. Don't forget the magical whales in space.]

It all seems unbelievable, that all of those creatures are out there in the universe.

I doubt we would have ever known about any of them if we hadn't traveled to the different worlds out there. Sora went so many years without knowing, but it's all I've ever known.

That is true. It's similar to the investigation team and myself. We would have never known about the shadows or Izanami if we had never entered the TV.

...who's Izanami anyway?

Izanami was the one who gifted Souji-senpai with the power of the persona. She is a goddess who attempted to turn everyone into shadows because she despised man.

But you guys stopped her, right? She didn't go crazy and destroy the world?

Yes, thankfully, we were able to stop her in time. If we hadn't received the letter from Adachi before Souji-senpai departed, she may have gotten away with turning us into shadows.

And what'd the letter say?

There wasn't much written in the letter, if I recall correctly. He had only said that there were still loose ends, that something hadn't felt right to him. It was only then that we realized there were some questions that remained unanswered.

And then you started to investigate and that's how you put a stop to it. Is that right?

Yes, though the investigation to actually finding Izanami did not take long. Souji-senpai was able to remember where he had experienced some rather strange things the year before, when he first arrived in Inaba.

Sounds like you guys almost had an easy way out. I'm kind of jealous.

I wouldn't say it was particularly easy. [Sheepish smile] Why is that?

I didn't exactly get a letter giving me any hints.
