Fast. [You're talking to a girl who's persona masters in agility]

[...and he's just going to start running to the bakery. Come on Naoto. Come on little duckies.]

[fortuneprince]

[And Naoto's just going to start running right after Roxas. The moment they take off though, so do the ducks, and some of them even trying to fly after Naoto while the others just run and quack at her]

[perplexme]

[Oh my gosh why are the ducks so brutal? Roxas is just going to pick up speed, making sure Naoto's right behind him and trying not to run into people. 'Scuse us, wild ducks and children coming through.]

[fortuneprince]

[The ducks obviously don't like Naoto. At all. Naoto speeds right on up with Roxas, ducking when one of the ducks flies over her head. It's a good thing she's gotten used to all of this, other wise that one would've hit her]

[perplexme]

You know, I'm going to be so glad when this is over. [Roxas is finding himself right in the line of fire with the ducks, too. At least the bakery's right in sight.]

[fortuneprince]

You and me both. [Well it looks like Naoto owes Roxas for two things now. The cheesecake disaster and now getting attacked by ducks/saving her from the evil ducks. Let's just hope they can get in the bakery before they're attacked by the army of feathery fiends.]

[perplexme]

[They reach the door of the bakery and Roxas grabs Naoto by the elbow, dragging her inside and slamming the door shut. He peers out the window above the door, checking on the duck army.] Think we've got about ten minutes.

[fortuneprince]

[Naoto gasps a little when she's pulled inside but as soon as the door shuts, she relaxes against it an takes a deep breath. The ducks proceed to follow them to the door but stop right outside and just... stare at it.] That should be enough time.

[perplexme]

Okay...okay, so we just need some bread for them, right? Ducks like bread, but what kind?

[fortuneprince]

I don't believe they're entirely picky about what kind of bread they eat. Anything will do. [Pretty much: just grab the first thing you see]

[perplexme]

[In that case? He's picking up a few donuts.] This oughta work, right?

[fortuneprince]

Yes, that'll work. [Naoto's going to glance outside at the evil ducks that are just waiting for her and flinch a little]

[perplexme]

Stay put. [He's taking the donuts, approaching the door and barely opening it a crack. It's just enough to stick his wrist out and throw the donuts away from the door. Duckies, go fetch.]

[fortuneprince]

[It takes the ducks a second to realize food has just been thrown outside for them to eat, so after staring at it for a moment, they all quack and waddle over to the donuts and begin to peck at them.

Naoto just watches and waits... ]

[perplexme]

...run. [And he's throwing open the bakery door and dragging Naoto out after him, making a fast break to get as far away from the ducks as possible.]

[fortuneprince]

[Naoto follows right after Roxas at almost the same speed, holding down her hat with her free hand to make sure it doesn't fly off. Luckily the ducks are too distracted by the delicious food to really notice them taking off like that... but to make sure, Naoto glances back] They aren't following.

[perplexme]

Good. Let's head back to your building just to be safe.

[fortuneprince]

Mm. [Just a nod. She'll be able to relax there]

[perplexme]

[And he'll be leading the way...but then something else occurs to him.]

Your place is safe, right?

[fortuneprince]

Yes, inside it should be fine.

[Luckily the ducks didn't get in there so that's good!]

[perplexme]

We'll hide out there for a while, if that's okay with you.

[fortuneprince]

Yes, that's fine. [Uh oh, the ducks are quacking in the distance. WHERE DID YOU GO NAOTO.]

[perplexme]

[He hears that.] ...annnd we need to pick up pace. Now.

[fortuneprince]

[Not going to say anything, just going to run faster. C'mon they're almost there!]
