[Okay, it's warm. Very very warm. Even for the evening it's hotter than usual...but that doesn't explain why there's a blond boy wandering through the forest without his shoes and without his shirt. True to New Feather nature, the boy's wearing just the white cotton pants as he shuffles along through the forest.

It isn't until he gets to the center of town that he stops, staring at his surroundings with blank eyes. Well, great. None of this is registering.

Attention, Luceti. Would the owners of a blonde derp please come and claim your friend? He's not going anywhere for a while. It's a little too hard to process anything right now.

[He doesn't give a direct response, reaching a hand up and grabbing Ven's arm so that their palms can meet. He's doing a size-up, don't mind him. He drops Ven's hand though and tilts his head back.]

Ven...tus? [It's the only thing he can draw a conclusion from, given his discussion with Luke.]

[Huh. He gives another sweeping gaze at the center of the village.]

...Luceti. [He nods to affirm that he heard her, flapping his wings once or twice.] Why?

[He doesn't say anything, because he doesn't like that idea. Wandering? Maybe later. But he shrugs in response, a barely-there shoulder lift.]

[At least he doesn't want the sandwich. He flinches at the sudden voice, blinking slowly at Lina there. He doesn't look away though, continuing to stare. What is that in your hand? Maybe he'll just..you know...approach closer to get a better look.]

[He's going to react to Sora much like he reacted to Ven, jerking his head back once Sora's in his line of vision. His gaze remains empty as he registers the boy in front of him. His eyebrows furrow ever-so-slightly but he doesn't speak, tilting his head in inquiry instead.]

I'm not entirely sure why we were brought here, though I believe the Malnosso play some role in it. The Malnosso are a group of scientists that are able to experiment on us at will.

[Roxas may be able to tell she's a little irritated when saying that. She does not like being experimented on like this]

[He's not sure how to articulate the fact he's unaware of what experiment means, but he gets the general sense that it's a pretty bad situation.] Experiment. ...how?

[She gives him a nod] The Malnosso send out robots to retrieve certain individuals and they bring them back to their hideout outside of the barrier that surrounds the village. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to gather a lot of information regarding the tests they conduct on those people. Normally when one returns from the kidnapping, they have no recollection of what happened in the time they were gone.

[That seems kind of weird. There are other people then who don't remember? He might be inclined to meet them if he can find them.] Why...not?

I'm not sure, possibly an effect from a drug that was administered to them. [Though she only knows one person who's memory was entirely erased]

[Go right on ahead, Naoto is going to sit down next to him.] Yes, there are a lot of people who are kidnapped every month, though it happens at random so there's no telling how many will disappear.

[He slowly shakes his head no, looking around her to get another glimpse at that sandwich. WHAT IS ITS PURPOSE.]

[He's looking down at his feet, wiggling his toes a bit.] Gone long?

[He grabs the other hand to examine the other palm. Huh. Just like his...]

Roxas. [He nods slowly, just to affirm that he is Roxas and that is Ventus. Okay.]

It varies. People can be gone for a few days then there are others that don't return for weeks. [She takes off her hat and fans herself a little with it]

[He was going to ask her another question, but the hat has suddenly become his target of interest. He's going to move his head to follow the hat's movements. Hello removable headwear. Roxas is going to attempt to prod at it.]

[When he stops talking, she looks at him to make sure he's okay but notices his gaze is following her hat. Up...down...up...this is amusing.

Normally she doesn't let anyone touch it since it's pretty much her favorite hat ever, but it doesn't seem like he'll tear it to shreds or anything so she holds it towards him a little]

[He'll take it and just hold it out at about arm's length, giving it another once-over.] What is it for?

You wear it on your head, though people wear them for different reasons, like fashion or simply to shade themselves from the sun. [Has he never worn a hat before?]

[Roxas has never seen a hat before as far as he knows. He's slowly gaining a sense of life, but the Malnosso were nice enough to erase everything but his name temporarily. So don't mind him tugging the hat this way and that, being careful not to tug too hard.] And you?
