Fifty-Fifth Keychain - [Action]

[Okay, it's warm. Very very warm. Even for the evening it's hotter than usual...but that doesn't explain why there's a blond boy wandering through the forest without his shoes and without his shirt. True to New Feather nature, the boy's wearing just the white cotton pants as he shuffles along through the forest.

It isn't until he gets to the center of town that he stops, staring at his surroundings with blank eyes. Well, great. None of this is registering.

Attention, Luceti. Would the owners of a blonde derp please come and claim your friend? He's not going anywhere for a while. It's a little too hard to process anything right now.

Is he staring at you? Or you? You seem like someone interesting.]

[Oh shi-- did he just grin? That's probably one of the first happy emotions he's shown to her since they started talking. It makes her happy that he's showing a more than just a serious or worried face. Yeah he's defiantly going to have to explain himself later on.

But wasn't she supposed to be taking him somewhere?] Oh, I should probably take you to the Welcome Center so you can find a temporary lodging there.

[Zombiexas isn't very aware of the ways of emoting yet, so that smile disappears back into his neutral blank face when he speaks again.] Okay. [A center, huh? He wonders what it's like, what it does. Maybe he will find others like him. So he steadily gets to his feet, looking at Naoto patiently. Lead the way.]

[She stands up and dusts herself off. It shouldn't take very long at all to get there since it's pretty much right around the corner, so she gestures for him to follow and starts walking in that direction]

Maybe some people that you know from your world have arrived here as well. It may make things a bit more comfortable for you here if they have.

[He follows like a good Roxas, nodding at her words even though he disagrees. It would make him more comfortable, sure, but...] I...don't know others.

[She blinks and looks at him with a small frown] You don't know anyone in your world?

[A headshake. Nope. Not a soul. Granted he's got a lot of friends from home that recognize him but he's still pretty unaware of them.]

I see...[She doesn't really know how to respond to that. It has to suck not knowing anyone from your own world, he must be lonely and she defiantly knows how that feels so...]

...I'll do my best to help you feel comfortable here, then.

[And there's that same half-smile again. He nods with a bit more enthusiasm.] ...thanks.

[Oh, he's smiling again. That makes her smile return too a little]

There's no need to thank me. [Hey, they're in front of the Welcome Center now] This a place where new feathers come to stay until they find a home.

[Huh. Big building. Seems like a good enough idea...he nods again, stepping a little closer. He stops then, looking over his shoulder at Naoto again.] Sure?

[A nod] I'm sure. [ ... ] Would you like me to go in with you?

[A pause...and then a nod. That wouldn't be a bad idea.]

[She nods too and opens the door, walking inside but waits for Roxas. Rise is working here so she can probably talk to her for Roxas, since he isn't much of a talker]

[And he follows, once again just taking in his surroundings.] It's...big.

They do have to provide a place for new feathers to stay, so it's understandable why it's big. Do you mind waiting here while I find Rise-san?

[He shakes his head. No, he doesn't mind. He may wander around the center while Naoto goes to find Rise, but he doesn't mind.] Okay.

[She gives him a nod before wandering off around the corner to hopefully find Rise. Once she does find the cheerful girl, she talks to her about Roxas needing a room to stay in temporarily]

[He watches her leave, and then he wanders to another part of the center. He's getting a lay of the land here, checking out everything there is to offer. He's not sure where to go though so he finds himself in the middle of the room waiting for instruction, just checking on the other people in the center.]

[After a few minutes of discussing that and getting a room number from Rise, she walks back and looks around for Roxas only to find him just standing there looking around at other people. She walks up to him]

They have a room available, it's this way. [She gestures down a hallway and starts to walk but slowly, making sure that he's following]

[He almost seems surprised when Naoto comes back into his vision, but he nods and follows after her.] ...thank you. [He doesn't say anything else beyond that as he follows, making sure to memorize his way so he doesn't get lost later on.]

[He's starting to show more emotions now, this is a good sign] Anytime. [Once she gets to the room number Rise gave her, she stops and opens the door, stepping to the side to let Roxas in first. It would seem a little rude to go in before him, it is his room after all]

This is it.

[So this is a room. He'll take a few steps in, stopping just inside the doorway to get a glimpse. It's probably nothing extravagant, but it's still fairly new to him. He turns to Naoto again and nods.] Okay. [He can stay here. Granted, he might wander back out to look at the village again, but now that his brain tells him to come back here that seems okay.]

[She really hopes he gets used to this place, he seems relatively lost at first but once he accepts things, he's fine. Though he is new to pretty much everything so it'll take some time]

Do you have any further questions?

...no. [He shakes his head to confirm that that's really what he means.] ...thank you...Naoto. [He's already picked up on quite a bit just by talking to her, so it's a start. But man...he'll definitely owe her an apology when he gets his senses back. For now though he's going to walk further into the room to examine every little thing. He's content for now.]

[She nods and smiles] You're welcome, Roxas-kun. [Be prepared for a slightly surprised yet not so surprised reaction when he does come to his senses. She watches him look around the room, making sure that he's comfortable with his surroundings]
