[It all started in the morning. Roxas got up bright and early, wasting some time in the library before returning to KH house in the early afternoon. He was determined to drag Axel out of bed to go to the battle dome with him. However, when he entered the other Nobody's bedroom, he didn't see anything. He clicks on the journal then and he's not addressing it just yet as he makes his way around the house, just to see if he can find him.

There's no sign of him being home.

...okay, Axel. If you didn't want to go out and train with me today all you had to do was say so. [He's going back to the other Nobody's room to give it another sweep.] Don't you think we're getting a little old for hide and seek? [And he's dropping to his knees, crawling around and looking under the bed and things.

And it's about then he remembers he has a rather useful device in his hands. He'll peer into the camera then to deliver his message.]

Hey, hi, listen. Have any of you seen Axel? Tall guy, bright read hair? Usually in a heavy black coat, snarks a lot? I mean it's not that big of a deal but I would really like to fi--

[It's then he sees a slip of paper that appears to have accidentally fallen under there. He makes a quick grab for it and sits on the floor, unfolding it and subconsciously mumbling to himself.]

...'nother "see ya" for now. I know I promised I wasn't going anywhere...

...I don't go away that easily...

...No!

[And he's taking off like a shot, journal in his hand as he bolts out of KH house and toward the village.]

You dummy, you can't be gone. Don't do this to me again!

[He's not going to stop for anything. Good luck getting him to slow down, but someone's on a mission to find the redhead, not fully believing the Nobody's disappeared from Luceti all together.]

[Grune was rather surprised that Roxas didn't stop to talk, but after a while, she continued with her errand and headed home.

She's completely forgotten seeing Roxas at this point, and so when she opens the door to his knock, it's with a surprised, happy smile.]

Oh, hello, Roxas! I'm glad you could visit! You should come in and have something to eat.

[Well really, he felt like it would have been rude not to respond to her, even if she doesn't remember.]

I'm not really hungry but...mind if I come in anyway?

Oh, yes, of course! [She immediately stands aside to let him in.] I'd love to spend time with you.

Cool...[And inside he goes.] I saw you earlier, but I didn't get to say hi. Sorry about that.

That's all right. You don't need to apologize. [The rather vague way she replies should pretty well confirm she's entirely forgotten seeing him earlier.

She leads him into the main living room and gestures at the couch.]

Would you like to sit down?

Sure...[And he has a seat, waiting for Grune to join him.]

How are you doing? [Did he already ask that? His head's spinning too much to be sure.]

[She sits down next to him and immediately answers:] Oh, I'm very good!

[But then she looks at him, her head just slightly tilted to one side. There's something off about Roxas today, but she's not quite sure what it is yet.]

Are you all right?

...could be better, I guess. [A beat.] Grune, do you remember my friend Axel? I think I've told you about him.

Hmm.... Did you?

[He did, but Grune and remembering things.]

Maybe. He's my best friend.

...but he went home, I guess.

[Grune's immediate response is to put an arm around Roxas and attempt to tug him into a seated hug.]

Oh, my. I'm very sorry to hear that.

[That's a nice gesture, thank you, Grune. He appreciates it.]

...I want to say it's okay and that he's better there, but I don't think he really is.

[She's just going to keep an arm around him now.]

Then I hope he can come back here soon.

He's come twice now, but I don't know if a third time's going to be possible. Is is possible? Sora's come and gone a lot, but I think that's different.

Oh, I'm sure it is. After all, if he's gone home without you, he'll miss you.

...you think?

Oh, yes, of course. If you're best friends, he must love you a lot.

...I guess he'd do anything for me.

You've had friends leave recently, haven't you?

[The encouraging smile Grune had been wearing fades somewhat.]

...Yes, that's right. I hope they come back soon.

If Axel has a chance of coming back, I bet your friends will, too. They've got to. It wouldn't make enough sense if they never came back.

Oh, yes, I'm sure they will. I just need to wait a little longer.

In the meantime, at least we have each other...and we've got our other friends, too. Isn't that what counts?

[And now she's able to smile properly again. She gives him a little squeeze with her arm.]

Yes, that's exactly right. Remembering we have each other is the most important part of all.
