[Never mind the colored pawprints that are appearing on the journal pages. Roxas is too focused on the task at hand to really care that his painting prodigy cat is using his journal for scrap paper. Soon, words carefully appear on the page in neat handwriting.]

Okay. Toxona and I have been thinking...all of this started Sunday, right? At least that's when weird things started for us. We wanted to know if anyone remembers some big event that happened that day that could have caused all of us to walk away with scrambled memories and different ideas. Please let us know if you have any leads. We'll be in the library all day.

[He then turns to his friend and business partner, Toxona, who's sitting next to him in the library. She's busy writing notes on another sheet of paper, and Nea the cat is on the table between them. Roxas is going to ignore his cat who's pawing at the journal and focus his attention on the girl.]

So Xion's convinced I'm supposed to know who Jixsan is. Has she said anything to you at all?

Jixsan? [Toxona looks up from her paperwork to shake her head.] No, she hasn't. It's been a few days since we last spoke, actually. Did she tell you anything about this person aside from their name?

[He shakes his head a bit.] Not a lot, but the guy looked a lot like Sanji. I don't know, she's not the only one acting weird. You saw Luke's eyes, right? I'm still trying to figure that one out...and it's like he doesn't even remember...you know. [About how he's dating Xion, he means. Nea the cat is growing bored with this conversation though and is going to continue making pawprints on the journal, walking right over the pages...and right on the voice function button of the journal.]

Sanji... [Pausing briefly to think on that name, not paying any attention to the bored cat. She isn't as acquainted with Sanji as the others are, but the name kinda rings a bell. She blinks at his next statement though] ...Yes, I was able to notice Luke's eyes. It's baffled me but this is a bit more of a surprise. Has he completely forgotten about it?

He hasn't said anything about it, and he hasn't been hanging out with her as much as he used to. He's actually been around Kairi more...I think the only one who's normal right now is Riku...which kind of doesn't help us much. What about your friends that you've made here? Are they any different?

We should speak to him personally about the matter then. I'd like to know if his own memory is as it was before or not. As for my friends... [A thoughtful hum] Rise and Roji both appeared to have changed slightly. Not in appearance, but their personalities and memories. I do not believe any others have changed significantly.

Maybe we should start holding interviews with people. You know, interrogations and get the whole story and see if we can piece things together. [Nea meows at Roxas then, tail swishing and looking into the camera of the journal.] Not now, Nea. [He pets the cat's head though.] I mean maybe there is an experiment going on, sure, but this seems really tame even for them. I don't get it. [The cat meows again, and Roxas looks away from Toxona, a bit irritated.] What? [And it's then that he notices the fact that the voice button is pressed down.] Nea, get off! [And there's a loud hiss along with some meowing before Roxas scrambles to disconnect the feed. Maybe they'll get lucky and all of that didn't just get blasted to the whole village...]

It seems so! I suppose I've lucked out since nothing strange has happened to me yet, but...

Hm, maybe it's something to do with the people you spend time with? I don't know how many ponies Ryoji-kun talks to... Granted Ryoji-kun talks to everyone so he could have an entire harem of ponies and I might not know it. What about your friends? Where are they from usually?

Are you sure nothing weird has happened to you?

There aren't that many ponies around here, trust me. Maybe three or four, but not enough for a harem. ...my friends are from different worlds. Luke's from a place called Auldrant, and Sanji's a pirate. But both of them are suddenly convinced they're from our world.

[ Why does this kid's voice sound so familiar... ]

And you're still the same as ever as far as you know? Although none of us can really be sure the way things are really. My brother is convinced one of his friends is suddenly someone he knows from back home, but Mina-nii didn't mention him my first day at all. This is sort of a strange time all around.

[He knows exactly who she is, but he's not going to say anything yet. Sorry Minako :(]

I'm pretty sure I'm the same as always. With your brother though...does he remember everything else the same way as it always was?

His memories are pretty much in tact still, yes. But I have to admit I was distracted more by the pony thing!

Can he fly? [This is important.]

I'd be more impressed if your brother could fly, but I was talking about the pony.

The pony can indeed fly! Which I suppose makes him more of a pegasus or unicorn than a pony, really. Why d'you ask?

Just curious. I've seen a few of the flying ponies around here, so I was wondering if your friend thought he was from the same world as those guys or it's something else entirely.

[ she laughs ] I'd say the odds are for the same world. The ratio of flying pony to humanoid being is pretty much 1 to 100 from what I've seen, so there aren't that many of them to start with. Much less from different worlds.

So then the next question is to find out if the ponies think they're from your world, too. Why would it be a one-sided link?

I'd been wondering that myself actually. But it doesn't seem like it so far: I asked around for names and looked through some of the journal entires belonging to them, but none seem to know anything about Iwatodai.

And your pony friend doesn't know about Iwatodai. Does anyone else?

A boy. Supposedly called Leon Takuma. It's like I said: the story is that he's from Iwatodai like my brother and I, but it doesn't add up. How many people are there claiming to be from your world?

[He just makes a face on his end of the feed.] Leon Takuma? Never heard of him. We've picked up two new people claiming to be from our world. [Technically three, but Toxona's always been from their world so Roxas sees nothing wrong with this.] Luke and Sanji both. Don't know if you've met them.

I'll definitely make a point to! For research of course.

I'm Minako, by the way. Minako Arisato.

They're around...it shouldn't be too hard to find them.

[He almost asks her why she's re-introducing himself, but stops just in time. Right. Left and came back.] I'm Roxas. It's good to meet you, Minako.

[ Minato unfortunately did her a great disservice in failing to mention Roxas as someone she'd known before, but she sounds happy enough now. ]

And you! It seems we've become partners in solidarity through this. With everyone else around us the way they are...

[He laughs slightly. Yeah, it's...pretty unusual right now.] People usually aren't like this, but I'm sure you figured that out. [But...] If you're interested in researching about this, my partner and I are in the library writing up notes and conducting interviews.

That's next to the SOS HQ isn't it?

Yeah, they're right next door to each other. Didn't know you knew about the Brigade already.

Everyone I know seems to be involved! I'm thinking of hopping the bandwagon myself. But if you're at the library I'd be happy to join you~

You might as well. I'm not part of it, but they do a lot around here. Even if their leader's sort of scary. Come on by. Let me know when you're here and I'll come find you.
