Four years, huh? That's a surprise. Makes me wonder if it's a blessing, or a curse. [There's a long pause in speech as Roxas continues scribbling out words on another sheet of paper. In the background, a cat meows and soon jumps on the table, stepping over the journal. Said-cat's paws may or may not be covered in paint, and said-cat may decide to lay down right on top of Roxas' notes.]

...Nea. I can't keep working if you don't move. [His only response is another meow. Nea's clearly a disgruntled cat.] ...man, you sound just like everyone else. I do not work too much. [And he's pushing at the cat to get back to his notes.]

So...what's your favorite flavor of ice cream? And what kind of songs do you like? Does anyone even know about writing songs? These...may or may not be related.

[He's going to take his time to head to the door, and when he opens said-door he's still got a pad of paper in one hand and the pencil tucked behind his ear.]

Yotsuba is good at songs, and ice cream! I'm the best at ice cream! It's really yummy, delicious! Don't eat too much, you get tummy aches like that. Can there be a song about ice cream?!

[He can't help it. He's amused...sort of weirded out, but mostly amused.] That's what we're hoping to do. What kind of ice cream should the song be about?

[That was meant to be her shot at a song about ice cream. The tune doesn't vary much between lines and it seems pretty clear she just made it up on the spot.]

My favourite ice cream...would have to be Sea salt ice cream. I also liked that song Sebastian composed for Ariel a lot!

But, Roxas, what are you doing?

Ven told me about this machine from a world he's been to. It sounded pretty cool, so I want to see if we can make something like it.

Never back home to where I belong. Almost everyone else that has been here has.

Yup. It's kind of weird that we got here around the same time, isn't it?

Yeah, and that neither one of us has been sent home. It makes you wonder why some people are sent home so quickly and why others stay for years.

What are we doing differently than everyone else?

[voice] I am the latest ever don't mind me.......

Deciding on whether your time here has been a blessing or a curse depends on how you personally view the time you have spent here.

Has it been worth it despite it's hardships? Do you value the experiences you have come across thus far? Do you cherish what memories you have created? And so on.

...well, do you? [Because this is how Roxas operates with Naoto; he always waits for her to answer first.]

Yes. All three questions have the same answer to me.

Despite the negative aspects of this place that I've experienced such as war and experimentation, I believe the more positive aspects I've experienced outweigh those which are bad. Such as the friendships I have been able to create here and the memories I've created with those very friends, they're considered to be irreplaceable to me. Therefore I consider the time I have been here to be blessing more than a curse.
