You should ask Sora, he gets really into the whole thing. Basically it's just a holiday where people exchange gifts and spend time with friends and family. Almost like a birthday, but you're not the only one receiving presents. And then some people celebrate it as something entirely different but still the same concept.

Nope, no Christmas in my world...or, at least in Wutai.

Well, you can probably bet there will be some sort of Christmas celebration here with how many people are busy talking about the holiday.

Yeah, I'm kind of getting a little tired of it personally but I can't stop it.

There is but I don't know how much information about Christmas there'd be. And I'm not a kid.

I don't know what the big deal is about it. It's just a holiday that everyone seems to use as an excuse to be nice and cheery around each other.

Thank you, exactly my point. Not that I mind people being nice but it's just the commercialism behind the whole thing.

Well, there's a religious part of it too, but most people seem to only think about the gifts and decorations. That's the part that's always bothersome.

The thing is most people forget about the religious part and skip straight to the fat guy in the red suit. It just seems like a waste of time to find a pine tree, shove breakable stuff on the branches, and then place boxes of materialistic artificial things under it. People spend months preparing for it, maybe even the whole year, and then it's over in the course of maybe 20 minutes.

Exactly. Those things aren't even supposed to be the main focus of the holiday.

Well, I'm not a big fan of the holidays to begin with, but I think the religious part is more of the main focus. Not that I'm religious or anything, but that's my opinion. The gifts, decorations, and stuff just aren't that important.
