You should ask Sora, he gets really into the whole thing. Basically it's just a holiday where people exchange gifts and spend time with friends and family. Almost like a birthday, but you're not the only one receiving presents. And then some people celebrate it as something entirely different but still the same concept.
Great. Guess I'll have to get used to this podunk place's geography sooner or later. [mun doesn't think there's an official place for the library anyway. :|;;]
Well, there's a religious part of it too, but most people seem to only think about the gifts and decorations. That's the part that's always bothersome.
The thing is most people forget about the religious part and skip straight to the fat guy in the red suit. It just seems like a waste of time to find a pine tree, shove breakable stuff on the branches, and then place boxes of materialistic artificial things under it. People spend months preparing for it, maybe even the whole year, and then it's over in the course of maybe 20 minutes.
[Very curious now because she's the first one to agree with him who actually knows what Christmas is] What do you think is the main focus then, from your perspective I mean.
Well, I'm not a big fan of the holidays to begin with, but I think the religious part is more of the main focus. Not that I'm religious or anything, but that's my opinion. The gifts, decorations, and stuff just aren't that important.

Know if there's a library around here, kid?
[voice]
There is but I don't know how much information about Christmas there'd be. And I'm not a kid.
[voice]
Hey, even if there's nothing about Christmas, there's probably something useful. Not usually my way of collecting info, but if it works, it works.
So what's your name then, kid?
[voice]
Suppose you have a point, library's down a ways, over by [gives him directions because mun doesn't actually know..]
...I'm Roxas. You are?
[voice]
The name's Reno. Not too hard to remember, right?
[voice]
...what did you just say?
[voice]
What? It's four letters. Not too hard to memorize.

Exactly. Those things aren't even supposed to be the main focus of the holiday.
