Because...it looks like Edward's brother showed up. He really misses his family, so getting to see his brother again probably makes him happier then he's been in a long time. If this thing ends, Edward might get sad again.

Lucky him. That's good at least. Yuffie said that usually the experiments last a whole week, so hopefully it'll last that long.

Yeah, I know. I still consider him my best friend dead or not. I meant more of if it was valid in anybody else's mind which really doesn't matter.
