Twelth Keychain-[Action]

[here have a Roxas tied to a tree in the middle of the forest and wrapped up in bright Christmas lights with 'Merry Christmas!' and snowmen painted on his face, definitely not looking happy. feel free to find him like this. Also, he's got a skateboard laying next to him as a present from the Mally-peoples, but that's not his main problem]

...YUFFIE!

[grumbles]If I don't get down, nobody's getting presents. [yes, he broke down and picked out presents for Aros, Sora, Yuffie, Bella, Fina, and even a little something for Cloud, Xigbar, and Salt]

[[ooc: based on this thread. Happy holidays everybody!]]

It's probably different in your world. It just... isn't that way for us...

It's like that for a large portion of the animals in our world that are complex enough to have a nervous system.

It's like...the brain controls everything. People can live with a broken heart. A heart can be fixed. In many cases, if something happens to the brain, you could be paralyzed physically or mentally...which would effect you emotionally, as well. And it usually can't be fixed. Everything that happens in the body runs through the brain. From there we can analyze the situations and choose actions that would make us more likely to live- actions that would make us happy. In theory, it's all really just survival guide...

But like I said, your anatomy could be completely different.

It's just the way things are for us...

That's just how it is in our world though. As Edward said, it might be different in yours.

Yeah.

Well, yeah. You wouldn't react to things the way you do if you didn't have feelings and emotions.

[identity profile] outofplaceklutz.livejournal.com 2008-12-29 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
Well, that's a little weird. Who came up with that?

[identity profile] outofplaceklutz.livejournal.com 2008-12-29 06:45 am (UTC)(link)
So, either someone actually thought that was true, or wanted you to believe that for some reason.

Well, those are terms we have even in our world, and people probably did used to believe that feelings came from the heart, but today, we know that our minds have something to do with it, and maybe even our souls.
