There's something strangely wrong here in Luceti. I can't figure it out, but...I don't like it. I wish I had more sources to use. But like Zexion said, in due time. Wonder if it can wait that long though.

They target everyone equally. New Feathers are the ones taken the most off guard, though.

Yeah, I guess that's true. I got hit with an experiment my first day here.

That couldn't have been pleasant. Five months... that was when the barrier seemed to vanish, if I'm recalling correctly.

It lasted for a little while. Arriving in the middle of that, and having things go back to normal right after must have been confusing.

It's merely a word used to describe the state of the general environment between experiments.
