How were you able to do that? Forgive me if I'm prying, but it is certainly intriguing.

Just with our hands. Kind of wave them around and the portals would open.

... I see. Is it a form of magic, then? It sounds like something too complex to be that simple.

Kind of I guess. It's hard to explain.

The only thing I think I can say to explain it would be the powers of darkness.

Hmm. It must be different from the 'dark' element from my world... I've never heard of it being able to be manipulated in such a manner.

It's a school of magic, from my world. The magic is based off of eight elements; light, dark, wind, earth, water, lightening, fire and ice.

And then there's healing, though that's arguably separate...

What's it used for?

Just spells, really. Although... hm. There were means to warp from one location to another, though it's not quite the same thing. It's not something that someone could manage on their own, in any case.

When I was helping Mark's with the guide a few weeks ago, I recall seeing a paragraph about that, actually... it would make sense if it meant your specific case. Can the others from your world also use this ability?

Some of them can. Some of the others use a ship to travel between worlds.

You'll have to tell me more about the places you've been able to visit another time. This is all very interesting to keep in mind, however, considering our situation.
