[After about 11 days, the Malnosso finally decided to return Roxas back to the village. He's walking pretty slowly with an almost-limp, the usual cuts and bruises from kidnapping on him and few feathers missing from his wings, but the most noticeable mark is the bleeding gash on the left side of his chest soaking through his shirt. He gets about as far as outside building two before he has to stop moving and hits the ground]

...[pauses, debating if he really wants to say this.] I used to think it was completely worth it. Doing whatever it took to become whole, become human.

I got what I wanted; I became "whole". But at the price of learning a life I was living was a lie, being put to sleep, and my best friend dying. Was it worth it? At the time when it was needed, yeah. Would I do it again? I'm not sure.

I had thought that... because I had failed in my purposes given to me when I was created... that if I had given myself one, I would fulfill it. But, I failed there too.
