And just when things were starting to be peaceful around here. ~~I thought I wouldn't~~ ~~I can't believe~~ ~~This isn't fair...~~ Forget it.

Raine, I was going to try and go to school but it'll have to wait for a while. Sorry. Things have been a little...weird lately. What's everybody else been up to, besides throwing parties and planning summer things. Just curious.

Hey, I have no problem leaving right now. Meet me at the building I saw you last time.

[Filtered to Axel]

Technically I could just go to your room but I'm not up for moving. I want to talk to you about something.

It seems to be a popular time for trips.

[Roxas was just about to leave but he stops when he hears the knocking on the window of his hide-out room in Building 5. At first he doesn't really see anything 'cause it's starting to get dark but hey, sup, we recognize those yellow eyes. And so Roxas heads over to the window and opens it]

You found me.

Yeah I've noticed that. A lot of people are heading out to explore the mountains and desert lately.

[Chirp sound and then like a BULLET he's in the room. Aros is a ninja but reborn or something clearly. Still, he has urgent but outdated news. He finally figured out what the weird darkness was--]

Xemnas.

[closes the window just in case like, idk, Xigbar might be hanging upside-down somewhere but once he does that he turns to face Aros and nods]

Yeah. He's back. Be careful, who knows what he might try to do with you.

The weather has gotten nicer, so I suppose it's to be expected. People are restless.

I think I know how they feel. Are you restless?

Heh. Well, I am one of those traveling right now, so I suppose that speaks for itself. I'm not certain if that's the right word that applies, though for the moment it seems to suit.

Yeah? Where are you going?

...Sora can defeat him.

[That is said rapidly and perhaps hopefully. Aros can sense Roxas isn't feeling... right. He himself is fine -- Xemnas is just another enemy to him albeit a notable one -- but this sort of reaction... he doesn't like it]

[unfortunately, Roxas is too distracted right now to remember that Aros isn't like anybody else and that the Heartless can sense things so he doesn't think anything of what he's actually saying]

Sure, but he did it with Riku, remember? The Riku that's here now, he's not the same one who helped fight Xemnas. He's just a kid; a stupid kid who still wants what he originally wanted, to see other worlds and leave the island. He doesn't even know what a Keyblade is.

...Xemnas isn't much of a threat, but with the rest of the members of the Organization backing him up, it's hard to say the same and actually mean it.

I have my claws. [And here he brandishes them. He snarls here. In his memories--] I tore into Xibar. [And then he slams said claws into the ground, actually ripping into the wood a little. The heartless isn't much for being light with his actions. Even so, after that, he looks up and cocks his head to the side--]

Roxas is strong. Sora is stronger. [...And Riku, if he were here, is unbeatable. He didn't realize that heartbeat was Riku, but now he'll have to look into that... in a bit. Still, quickly, quietly, perhaps regretting saying this he adds-]

Axel too. Kairi too.

My brother hadn't seen much of the forest, so it seemed a good way to get him acquainted with some of the spirits, among other things. We've been out for a few days; we're just starting to head back now.

Did you have any plans?

[looks down at the floor, watching Aros' claws flex in the wood and nodding again. He's registering what's being said, really, but he's still completely blank]

Yeah...true, I did forget that. I think just because I've never seen you fight since we've been here.

[he scowls a bit at the last few sentences, looking away in thought.]

I know that, but Axel and Sora...they said I can't fight. Axel said I'm strong but not strong enough. Sora won't let me fight either because he doesn't "want me to get hurt". I can fight on my own.

...Axel and Kairi could; Axel has his chakrams, but Kairi doesn't have her Keyblade anymore.

Oh...that's not so bad.

Me? No, not really. Things sort of just came up instead.

Roxas can fight. [And as if the prove the point, Aros is going to crouch in front of him, flexing his talons. He's not one for sparring and he's terrified of keyblades but... but--]

We are part of Sora. We are strong.

[And with that, Aros moves at an ungodly speed to take a swipe at Roxas with one of his claws. I HOPE YOU GOT READY TO BLOCK THAT LOL because otherwise you're getting a cut on your belly from sharp darkness-claws]

[As soon as Aros swiped his claws forward, Roxas summons one of his Keyblades to block the slash barely in time. He doesn't NEED any more cuts man]

Hey!

[Snarl, and then Aros is going to feint to the right and then with that same ungodly speed and dexterity slash from the left. Even if it doesn't connect he's going to make an impossible movement onto Roxas's wall there to prepare for the next slash]

[Roxas blocks that slash as well, backing up to prepare for the next one] What're you doing?

Fighting.

[And with that he leaps off the wall, going for Roxas's face. He's sure the other is going to catch him in that movement though, so at the time he is caught there he intends to swing with his leg to hit the Nobody in the gut]

[Roxas uses the Keyblade to block the hit to his face, but as he's attempting to summon the other, Aros' leg connects with his stomach and pushes him back, catching him completely off guard]

What're you trying to prove? [And there he goes, trying to summon his second Keyblade again]

I won't lose. [...Not to Sora. He plans to challenge Sora, and if he can't beat Roxas, then he's not going to get there. Xemnas falls into that too. This is all connected to the introspective heartless, but maybe Roxas can't connect it right now.

But he probably can. Still keyblades, his natural bane... Time to fade into the shadows and then re-appear behind Roxas in order to give a nice back-stab]
