[Just grins and nods, looking over at Axel. ...and his box] What's that?

Ah, well, just a gift. You know, in celebration of another year passing.

...you got me a present? Really? [He shouldn't be that surprised, but Axel's never given him a present so he's pretty fascinated] Can I see it?

Well today is kinda special.

[Picks up the box and hands it over to him.]

Open it.

[Takes the box from Axel's hand and almost eagerly opens it, setting the box aside and picking up the kaleidoscope from it. He pauses there for a minute, turning it in his hands and for the life of him he has no idea what it actually is.] What is it?

[The kaleidoscope is made out of glass and looks like this. It's about 6 inches long and the wheel is like 3 inches in diameter.]

It's a kaleidoscope. Hold it up to the sun and look through the opening.

[Picks up the kaleidoscope and holds it up to his eye, looking at the sun] Wow... [busy spinning it now to look at all of the colors]

[Axel looks amused.]

Like it? I made that myself.

[still busy spinning it and looking at the colors. Anything to do with light obviously makes Roxas happy.] You made it? Axel, this is so cool. Thank you. [Brb busy geeking out]

...birthday? [pulls the kaleidoscope back finally and turns to look at him]

Seems kinda silly for a Nobody to have a birthday, doesn't it? But... you've been in Luceti a year now. And this is close to the time when you first were "born", so. I think it calls for a special day. Just to celebrate each year that passes.

Yeah...I guess you've got a point. [He looks down at his present first before cautiously scooting closer to lightly bump his head against Axel's shoulder] Thanks.

[He doesn't mind this at all.]

I've actually been planning this for a while.

[In that case, just going to stay leaning against him while he thinks this over] Really? How long is a while?
