Sixty-First Keychain - [Written/Accidental Voice]

[Never mind the colored pawprints that are appearing on the journal pages. Roxas is too focused on the task at hand to really care that his painting prodigy cat is using his journal for scrap paper. Soon, words carefully appear on the page in neat handwriting.]

Okay. Toxona and I have been thinking...all of this started Sunday, right? At least that's when weird things started for us. We wanted to know if anyone remembers some big event that happened that day that could have caused all of us to walk away with scrambled memories and different ideas. Please let us know if you have any leads. We'll be in the library all day.

[He then turns to his friend and business partner, Toxona, who's sitting next to him in the library. She's busy writing notes on another sheet of paper, and Nea the cat is on the table between them. Roxas is going to ignore his cat who's pawing at the journal and focus his attention on the girl.]

So Xion's convinced I'm supposed to know who Jixsan is. Has she said anything to you at all?

Jixsan? [Toxona looks up from her paperwork to shake her head.] No, she hasn't. It's been a few days since we last spoke, actually. Did she tell you anything about this person aside from their name?

[He shakes his head a bit.] Not a lot, but the guy looked a lot like Sanji. I don't know, she's not the only one acting weird. You saw Luke's eyes, right? I'm still trying to figure that one out...and it's like he doesn't even remember...you know. [About how he's dating Xion, he means. Nea the cat is growing bored with this conversation though and is going to continue making pawprints on the journal, walking right over the pages...and right on the voice function button of the journal.]

Sanji... [Pausing briefly to think on that name, not paying any attention to the bored cat. She isn't as acquainted with Sanji as the others are, but the name kinda rings a bell. She blinks at his next statement though] ...Yes, I was able to notice Luke's eyes. It's baffled me but this is a bit more of a surprise. Has he completely forgotten about it?

He hasn't said anything about it, and he hasn't been hanging out with her as much as he used to. He's actually been around Kairi more...I think the only one who's normal right now is Riku...which kind of doesn't help us much. What about your friends that you've made here? Are they any different?

We should speak to him personally about the matter then. I'd like to know if his own memory is as it was before or not. As for my friends... [A thoughtful hum] Rise and Roji both appeared to have changed slightly. Not in appearance, but their personalities and memories. I do not believe any others have changed significantly.

Maybe we should start holding interviews with people. You know, interrogations and get the whole story and see if we can piece things together. [Nea meows at Roxas then, tail swishing and looking into the camera of the journal.] Not now, Nea. [He pets the cat's head though.] I mean maybe there is an experiment going on, sure, but this seems really tame even for them. I don't get it. [The cat meows again, and Roxas looks away from Toxona, a bit irritated.] What? [And it's then that he notices the fact that the voice button is pressed down.] Nea, get off! [And there's a loud hiss along with some meowing before Roxas scrambles to disconnect the feed. Maybe they'll get lucky and all of that didn't just get blasted to the whole village...]

Maybe not need something, but I'm curious why he's referring to himself in third person.

Because he's not Sanji to begin with. [a shrug] Makes the third-person bullshit easier to navigate.

Let's cut to the chase then. Who do you think you are?

Lack of a heart and emotions is a good start, but I think I was convinced the moment I started opening up portals with a mere thought.

... Though I could probably blame that shithead Xemnas for the name, too. X is a bitch of a letter to work with.

...I don't know, it worked out pretty well for me. [He muses on that for a moment before realizing what it is Sanji's saying.] No, no wait a minute. Since when have you been able to open portals?

[Voice]

Tch, well, "Roxas" sounds like a real name.

[At the latter question, he shrugs again] Since Sanji died. Pretty sure that's how Nobodies are made.

[Well. In most cases]

[It's really kind of surreal hearing all of this information come from somebody he didn't believe to actually be a Nobody. But at the same time, it's fascinating to hear someone else's take on it.] You don't remember how Sanji died, do you?

[Voice]

[concasse]

... No, I do. [His mouth twists, briefly] Or I think I do. No way to really verify it.

[Voice]

It's probably too much to ask you to tell me about it, huh?

[Voice]

We're in the library if you happen to be in the area.

[Action]

Alright, give me a sec.

[He really does mean a second. While he isn't sure which area of the library Roxas and co. are in, he'll just keep opening up portals and sticking his head through them until he gets it right. Best plan.]

[It doesn't take Jixsan long before he pops up in the right place, starling Roxas at his sudden apperance.]

How did you just do that?

[Action]

[Oh wait, he knows what's wrong here] Did you forget how to open one up?

[Action]

Wh-no. [Huff. Rude, Jixsan. Roxas knows tricks still.]

I mean...I just didn't know you were doing it here. That's all. Hey. Thanks for coming.

[Action]

Sure thing. [Stepping out of the portal proper, now]

What did you wanna know?

[ooc: Should I wait for Naoto to respond? >> <<]

We've got a couple of questions...let me go grab Toxona, I think she went to put some of our books back. Have a seat. [And he's going to get up to go find his partner, leaving Jixsan alone with Nea the cat.]

[Toxona's intention was to put some books back but... um. She. Kinda started grabbing some new ones. Heeeeee. So slowly making her way back, with her nose stuck in a book, she bumps right into Roxas. What is paying attention]

Oh, I apologize Roxas. I got distracted again.

[Action]

Don't worry about it. Jixsan's here for questioning. [And he's motioning for her to follow him back to the table...and hoping that Jixsan really is still there.]

[Action]

[No worries, Jixsan's having a staring competition with the cat. And losing horrendously.

He glances up and gives each of them an acknowledging nod.]

[Action]

[Well at least Nea can get along with guys other than Roxas.

Toxona places the book she had shoved her face into on the table along with the others she had collected, staring at Jixsan very curiously all the while.] Thank you for coming, Jixsan.

[Roxas just rolls his eyes, petting his cat on the head before taking a seat and pulling his notebook closer.]

So I guess the first question we have is...what happened to Sanji?
